One thing stillfocused is that the gift of true prophecy can not be abused or misused....it may be mishandled but not abused....keep in mind as GDD stated earlier that prophecy comes from God.....

Dont get fault focuses. That will mess you up.. Learn to discern the true.. When I worked at a bank they didnt teach you to find a counterfeit bill by showing you counterfeit bills.

They showed you a TRUE BILL. And Once you learned what made a bill TRUE you wouldnt be fooled by a counterfeit.

I agree with GDD you can only prophecy what the Lord has given you....... I was in church one Sunday and the Lord gave me a word for this young man visiting our church and the word was to sum it up is that God had great plans for his life.......I didn't get all into what sins he was living in or what was going on in his life the words of God for me to him that day were short and simple.....

The next few Sundays he start returning to church with a newborn baby and then one Sunday he brought the mother and talked with Pastor and explained that they were living in sin and wanted to get married.....

Now if I was operating outside of what God had told me to do and went on to ask him about his personal life that could have really turned him off...but because I did as the Lord instructed (which was to give an encouraging simple word over his life) God did the rest......the word says one plants, another water but God gives the increase.......so who knows what the next prophecy or word could have been given to that man that changed his mind...

So I say that to say we really can't judge why God does things the way he does.....

I agree LANL, God is soooooooo graciouse and kind and He knows how to deal with us. Its true If God would of went into his personal life it would have turned him off. God knows just what to say and His word will not come back unto Him void.....

Explain please what you mean by recording prophecies.. Just want to make sure we are on the same wavelength.

GDD... lately, I notice most prophet record their prophecy for their own protection and for the person they are prophesying to. Many time when a person is being minister to, they are not alerts to hear every word that are being spoken. They usually miss and hit and ended up with the wrong interpretation of the prophecy.

I remember a lady was told she have prophetic gift. She went and told her pastor that the prophet say she is call to be a prophetess. Her pastor was not in agreement with what the lady said and called the prophet. It became the prophet word again the lady word. If it was taped, the problem would have been easily solved. Most ppl do not pay attention when a prophetic Word is spoken to them, they are busy moving, praising and talking to God, while God is trying to speak to them. They are the first to call a man or woman of God false, when they only received picecs of the Word.

Most of my prophecies are recorded. because I am hearing impaired, I have someone to type it our. 90% of the time, I get the Word just by looking at the prophet in the mouth, concentrating and paying attention, only when they don't play the music too loud.

I totally agree anointedteacher, I think its a good Idea to record the prophecy so you can go back over it for yourself just in case you might of missed something. cuz you are right often times we get distracted and we might over look or miss-interpret what God is trying to say.

We record prophecies in our church so that we can refer back to them accuractely and so that if there is personal prophecy people can get the tape and write down what GOD said.. because as you said many times we are too bust crying, shouting and falling out to hear what GOD is actually saying.

She might be talking about that type of rip off prophecy, that comes from a profit of a god, not prophet .

How do you feel about the Spirit of Prophecy by Bill and Marsha Burns.... I receive them daily on weekday in my email. The prophecy are very general and it is to the church, but at time when I read them, it become very personal to me as if God actually speaking directly into my life and situation. Many time when I am led, I will forward it to a brother or sister in Chirst, or a leader...

I and others have posted these prophecies at different time on this BB.

Thanks...GDD !! I have seen someone walking around as a "scribe" with pen and paper writing down what is being prophesied. And I know that sometimes when you're being prayed for..there are some things that is only meant for you to hear.

And I have sending me prophesies on a regular...yet, I have to do something for them to come to pass..most of the time there is a request for money..which I never send.

Who have been sending you personal prophecy on regular basis? Have you taken those prophecies to your leaders and a seasoned prophet to be judge? Do you look for confirmations from two or three seasoned prophet before receiving it into your spirit? Do you know the prophet personally, why or what his/her purpose for sending you a personal prophecy? I really have a problem with that... I question it, don't sound right..... What are the things you have to do, beside sending money?

I don't have to take to my leaders to be judged..because it's another way to get money. he will send instructions like don't open this one until you read this one..stuff like that I throw them away. It's the guy that does the anointed olive oil soap..I want to say his name is Paul Lewis. I don't go out seeking prophetic words..because to me that's very dangerous..and most times if I do get a prophesy..it's things that the Lord has already or is speaking to me about..

Sometimes it's running to the "prophet" isn't always what God wants us to do. I do prophets personally and most times the word that they speak to me..is confirmation. Yet, I have had one tell listen to the prophet and you will prosper..meaning do I what I tell you to do and get what you want. I have a someone tell if I had to moved to the city they resided in that they would have put me in a house..because God told them ..yet, there was the condition to move. I have been told by different people that God wanted me in 4 different cities..at one time. And the Lord asked me a question..Does draw you to them or me ? We know all that everyone who calls themselves a prophet is not one..yet, how call the difference between a person who has the gift of prophesty and one who has been called to the office of a prophet ?

I never heard of him. so Bishop E. Bernard Jordan has the prophetic soap and Prophet(profit) Paul Lewis has the olive oil soap.... ;D ;D ;D I wouldn't even open it.... Bbishop J... used to send me letters all the time... ESP, 365 prophecies for 365 days for $365.00 .... I used to love this man and his family and some of his followers... till the fall.... He used to prophesied into my life and impartation of the anointing in teaching back in the early 90's. 've prayed that he will turn back to God.

These are false prophets, and it is best the you don't even bring the mail into your house, less than open it.. There are some strong demonic spirit attached to those letters. I receive a letter in the mail from another Profit... I either write return to sender and drop it back into the mail or detroy it...I don't bring into my house .
