Our incumbent president, Bush, doesn't stand for homosexual marriages, unions but also he's against increasing funds for poor children in America to have health coverage despite legislators push for it (now this is equally wrong). That's why I say they all have their pros and cons. Remember, we live in a democratic society (far from a godly structure.) |

Nothing is new about Obama's stance on gay rights; he's always held that from the beginning. Also, I think there's something to be said about a candidate's position on gay marriage (which Obama is against, by the way). It isn't an issue you can force. The way our Constitution is already set up, technically they can occur, but many states have already banned them in their state constitutions, so even if a candidate is for it, he can't make them happen if he/she actually becomes president. It's an issue for the states to handle, which they have been doing thus far. |

Like u keita i am wondering why this insistence on christians saying they 'are being sent to the world' and suddenly when they get there this 'diluted gospel comes out??
Daniel definitely was a politician but he stood uncompromising and rather turned a nation around for God and was going strong in the lord even in his old age.
At present one of africa's most anointed ministers who happens to be a bishop is in a mess because of going to stand for political office. 25 years of unblemished record in ministry.....
Which brings me a recent concern that why cant folks just stick to what God has obviously called them to do? Some are called in the market place and some are not and it becomes very obvious quickly.
U are either called to something or u are not-stop making the church a laughing stock because of ur good ideas and do what God has told u to do.
Just had to rant....
