Well good day to each of you! Pray that your day has been blessed thus far, full of God's love and his sweet spirit of JOY!!!
I'm reflecting today and I thought I'd put it here because God is the reason for my praise on today-not because of any special reason but, "Just because He is"
This thread may be a little long bc I will share with you some sayings/poems/thoughts, whatever they will become to you...I will share them with you bc they often spark a rememberance in my spirit of who God is too me.
This year is fastly drawing to a close, many of us have had some turbeluance, some downfalls, some disappointments, some doubts, some letdowns, etc.
For all the negative...God is still good, we're yet here, speaking with the voice HE has granted unto us, sharing his love with family, friends and strangers, learning of him in ways that have brought us closer to him and to others. I would venture to say it's been a pretty good yr. What say ye? Praise God
We've yet got a ways to go, people to see, places to go, and things to do that will glorify our Father! Let's put on our running shoes and run the race with steadfastness, let's continue to glean and then glean some more from one another, our laity and our God!
I'm praising God on today for yet another chance to be in his presence, for yet another chance to sit and think on his goodness, for yet another chance to say on today "God I love you" just because you are!
I've been granted one more yr. (6/20), just today I have been granted 4 beautiful yrs. with the love of my life... yes, there have been trying times for me too-but through it all, God always managed to give me a smile in spite of... Glory Hallelujah!!!!
In the words of a statement that lingers at the bottom of DH's stationary:
There is always a brighter side to what you are going through, no matter how difficult it is!!!
I pray that this post leaves you feeling like I felt as I wrote it! Full of love, thankfulness, gratefulness, awe, and wonder...Just because HE is!
May God's blessings and favor touch each of you in a special way, today and always!
