Self-Delusion Exposed.....Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in you name drive out demons and perform many miracles? "The will I tell him Plainly, " I never knew you, away from me you evildoer's.
Many may think that there position with Christ is SECURED. atrue

Well you know how people look a wolve with sheep clothing, yes I mean wolve......and think that they are the god of all gods. That they are so holy that we begin to mis-interpet what we see on the outside instead of looking on the inside. The bible tells us to try the spirit by the spirit and many time mis-identfying who the enemy is because we caught by their outward appearance and how they speak and carry themselves instead of looking at what's in the heart. IN the book of Deut. 13 it talks about killing the enemy speaking false thing etc. etc. I encourage everyone to read it first to see what I am talking about. We must allow the Holy Spirit to teach us how to identfy who are enemy is. atrue

Okay sis,
I am still not really sure what you wish to discuss. Honestly, it seems as if you are talking about something in particular yet being very general in your post.

I may understand what she is saying..many times we identify our enemies as people..those we fellowship with, live with, and etc. Yet, the question is who is the real enemy...self delusion is often tied to a lying spirit and the spirit of pride. I will read the scripture ref and come back later..

We can't see what's in a persons heart, only God can do that. We are to try the spirit by the spirit, to see if they be of God. (as you stated)
Our enemy is the devil, and he uses people to do his dirty work. We must know that even in the CHURCH its not the individual, its the devil working through that person.

Jasmine..that's understood. Yet, how many times have you heard a preacher or whatever stand up and say " God blessed in front of my enemies "..while glaring a one the congregants ? I pray for understanding and much wisdom especially during the season we're in.

I have heard it a many of times, and that statement is correct, but we must get to a place where the enemy is an enemy, and people can willing yeild and unwilling allow the enemy to use them.
The bible clearly states that we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood...that cancels out people right there.
ADDING: what makes the statement correct is, God does bless us in the presence of our enemies. He openly rewards us for doing whats right, in the private.

I personally think that we should stop looking at things in the negative when we discuss such issues.
I have noticed a lot that when we discuss things on this board, we tend to say what some pastors, other Christians etc. are doing. Though the statements have some truth to them, they also speak of how the individual is still hurting, wounded and leaking from an offense that happened to them.
I am not coming down on anyone here and please "hear" what I am saying. There are things that I still hurt from as well but I have to make sure that I am not looking through the eyes of that offense for if I do, healing will never take place.
It is up to each one of us to know that we have a real enemy. We have to see things the way the bible tells us to. As has already been stated, the enemy will use people and situations to accomplish his purpose - it is up to us to recognize the enemy at work in any given situation and war as we are instructed to do in the bible.
You know many times we don't always know when we are being used by the enemy. It is time that we take a good look at US and ask God to search our hearts before we point the finger at what we believe someone else is doing.
