hey Guys, I just feel like talking... I was wondering has anybody seen any good movies lately? I love to go to the movies during the summer... The last 2 movies that I saw were "Wanted" and Eddie Murphy's "Meet Dave". So far the best move that I saw this summer was Iron Man...
What about the rest of you guys? By the way are there any movies that you won't go see because you are a Christian? For example... Hellboy looks pretty interesting and looks like it has great special effects which I really like... But I won't go see it because I feel that it is tricking young people into believing that some forms of evil are ok...
Share your thoughts...

Kitty, this must be God....
My girlfriends and I saw a very disturbing movie this weekend.....
The name of the movie is "Cover" with Vivaca Fox and several other black actors/actresses....
The movie shook us up so that we ended up having a three hour conversation after the movie and I really wanted to bring the topic to the BB....
Please check it out....the movie is playing on PPV (for Comcast subscribers)

Hey Living, I don't have cable! Yes I know I am probably the last person on earth but I just can't afford it. Oh yeah... I'm also the last person on earth that doesn't have a cell phone either! I really get on Gap's nerves with that when ever we go to hang out! LOL
But anyway Living can you give a a detailed plot/story line? What happened? Is the movie on Blockbuster video? If it is disturbing chances are I probably wouldn't watch it I have been trying to keep my mind light right now. LOL
But I would like to discuss it... What about it was disturbing?

Yes, Kitty, as for the cell phone, I like David have said "When Lord, When? " LOL Hanthingy came out on my birthday July 2nd and my twins took me to see it. Of course since my huzzzband Will Smith was in it (LOLOL) Seriously though, I rated Hanthingy a 7 to a 7.5. It was not his worse (Wild Wild West still holds that record) but it was certainly not his best. I can't remember the last movie I saw before that. I definitely want to see Mama Mia, I love a good musical or movie based on a musical. Also on my list of Movie Maybe's is Dark Knight, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Get Smart - mainly cause they are all remakes of something I watched back in the day. Wanted was on my list but I try to stay away from movies with sexuality in it's description (know your triggers). Anywaaaaaaaayyyyyy...............I looked up Cover, it's about living on the Down Low. It was actually referred to in the Soul Mates Documentary as one of the things we need to be able to discern if we go the dating route during our season of singleness.

LOL Ever say "Duh" to yourself? I was so confused for the last few minutes of why the name of Will Smith's movie changed. Then I got it. It was a pretty funny moment. I just cracked up at my own confusion. ;D

Why don't you guys opt for basic cable. Its not more than $10 bucks, and you only get your local /basic channels. Thats $100 dollars a year, and most people spend that on fast food, or starbucks alone. I liked han c-o-c-k, because who would have thought the wife was actually. I like to laugh, and I laughed all through out.

Hey Guys,
That's the same deal here in Philly.... Cable is about $30-40 for basic cable. Then of course there is taxes. Most good deals on cable here are just for the first few months 3-6 then the bill just keep going up and up and up. I know the last time I had cable back when I was in Illinois I was paying up to $50 a month for basical cable and HBO.... and that was alomst like 7-9 years ago so I have no idea what it would be like now...
But $10! That's a great deal.... I also don't watch a lot of tv. I think I seem to want to watch it only to unwind after a long day or school or when I am getting ready to go to bed but I have even stopped that now.
Is it me or does the desire to watch tv always increase when you have some work to do?! LOL
Stillfocused... thanks for mentioning First Sunday... I think I will check that out to rent sometime soon. Is anybody going to go see the Mummy?
