quote author=kitty board=controversy thread=2108 post=25707 time=1239507964]True, Let me get this straight... is your last post saying that you believe that there are non-christians that accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior? if so... then that confuses me because those that accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is what the definiton of a Christian is to me...
Christians are not the only followers of Christ. As a Christian myself I had to learn that not everything we see is black and white. We all know there is one God one blood. We may call him by a different name. But he (Jesus) is still the only one. And if you accept him as your Lord and savior that doesn't make you a Christian. There are plenty spiritual folk that accepts Christ and they are not Christians.
Secondly... Are you saying that Muslims and Jews are saved? How so? Esepcially hindus... cuz those folks a way, way off base... Thy praying to folks with many arms and one god withthe head of an elephant.
Have you ever spoken with a Hindu or others of other religions? They depict Christ differently from us. We have him on a cross, someone else may have him with many different arms etc.. However, still one Christ just seen differently. Just worshiped differently than we do. Yes we know not to worship idles but they are taught differently. Something that always amazes me is how the Lord told Moses to go to Pharaoh and command that he set his people free. Yet the Lord himself harden pharoah heart so that he wouldn't let them go. That just doesn't make any sense. But that's the Lord, one minute he makes sense the next he doesn't. But guess what it all makes sense to him because he knows exactly what he's doing. That's why he is God and God alone. That's why we are not to judge because we have no idea what the big picture truly is. That's why the Lord has sheep in other pastures we don't know about. But to think that Christians are the only saved people is ridiculous

No... There are plenty none Christians that accept him as their Lord and savior and are saved. Christians are not the only saved people although most of us would love to think that. If that were the case then why would the Lord say he has sheep in other pastures. Mus, hindu, jew etc... There is no one door religion to the Christ. This is not biblical. what's not? I refuse to believe that because one doesn't hold the title Christian that they are not saved.

what's not? I refuse to believe that because one doesn't hold the title Christian that they are not saved. No, one does not have to claim the title "Christian" to be saved, but if they are truly saved, then they are essentially a Christian--a Christian in essence. And I don't understand why someone who is saved would reject that title anyway. As far as there being "no one door religion to the Christ," any religion that does not teach Christ as the divine Son of God, God Himself manifested in the flesh to take away our sins, is not a true religion.
