Arms Sent by U.S. May Be Falling Into Taliban HandsKABUL — Insurgents in Afghanistan, fighting from some of the poorest and most remote regions on earth, have managed for years to maintain an intensive guerrilla war against materially superior American and Afghan forces. Weapons from a police post linked to an attack on Americans. Most rifles were the kind issued by the United States. Arms and ordnance collected from dead insurgents hint at one possible reason: Of 30 rifle magazines recently taken from insurgents’ corpses, at least 17 contained cartridges, or rounds, identical to ammunition the United States had provided to Afghan government forces, according to an examination of ammunition markings by The New York Times and interviews with American officers and arms dealers..........

Hey Nikkol, Very interesting article... I can't say that I am surprised... There are so many people and companies that are in the U.S. and are in the business of war... They hate the vry idea of peace... And this story/situation has happened over and over again... The U.S. has some major enemy, fight them and find that their weapons were from our home land...
Just the other day I heard a quote and some how I think it applies.... War: When the rich declare open season on the poor... Terrorism: When the poor declares open season on the rich...
One of these days maybe young men will stop following these power hungry old jokers and tell them to go and fight their own wars...
