The church need to stop taping and recording everything... Everybody don't need to see a person being delivered... How about protecting the person you pray for, privacy. There certian things that should not be done in front of a camera and certian thing should be spoken into the mic. The church need to use wisdom and realize everything is not for everybody.... I truly agree with you on this...

i personally believe that homosexuality is a demon. I do agree with you anointed teacher that we have to cover people in love and that goes for deliverance.

I was flipping through TV channels today and, lo and behold, the young man who was being exorcised in this controversial clip is the subject of today's episode of the Tyra Banks show, along with his pastor. tyrashow.warnerbros.com/One thing that I can already tell about this young man is that he seems introverted, shy, reserved, and he's not able to articulate himself well. He says that he's now attracted to women, but hesitated in giving that answer. I'm looking at the show right now.

One thing I can say is that by being on that show, the pastor/prophetess and overseer/bishop have given the church a bad name. I was a bit embarrassed to be honest with you. I believe they were well-intentioned, but I think they might have done more harm than good. It's obvious that the 16-year old boy, Jeffrey, isn't getting any type of in-depth, follow-up counseling which would be critical. The boy seems like he might have had other issues too, as I mentioned earlier. And my question was, where are his parents? I didn't watch the entire show, so I don't know if they were there, whether they are in his life or not, or whatever. They had a secular counselor on there who was talking about how she deals with teens who have been traumatized (not sure if that's the word she used, but it was the same concept) by exorcisms where she said the subjects were being beaten with a Bible and had the ministers stepping on them in order to get demons to come out. Her and the bishop/overseer got into it for a little while. The prophet/pastor came across as a bit spooky in her introduction. She was using all of this spiritual, charismatic lingo and I know the people didn't know what she was talking about. She said, "I also have the gift of discernment, and I discerned when he came into the church that he was gay." Tyra was like, "Oh, you mean you have gaydar? Because I knew he was gay when I first saw him." I was thinking to myself that first of all, there is nothing called the "gift of discernment" in scripture and I was agreeing with Tyra; you could just tell the boy was gay. He used to cross-dress for goodness' sake, LOL. But yeah, I don't even think they should have gone on the show.

They should have never gone on an secular show, know that Tara is surround by gay... It can cause the young man to doubt his deliverance... It shouldn't have been tapedand put on You Tube in the first place. This kid have to face his peer in school... What happen to wisdom.

Shoot, I doubt his deliverance myself. The way they had him looking, in an oversized suit and what looked to be a fake beard, was seriously overdoing it. The boy even said himself that he's still attracted to the same sex. It would have been one thing to say that his process of deliverance was initiated with the exorcism, but that wasn't what was being claimed; they said he was delivered, past tense. And I agree, they should not have gone on a secular show, because when you do, they set the rules. I would like to see some in the church do some type of show like this with people who have truly been delivered for some time now and are living holy, wholesome lives. That would go FARRRRRRRRR further in actually reaching out to those who truly want to change. What they saw today would probably push them further away. What really gets me about this whole thing isn't the subject (homosexuality), but the fact that they just made the church look straight up foolish with a lot of the back and forth and other stuff that was going on.
