Victory Everyone! Sorry for the delay, I think a good place to start to learn more about the hadith and the TRUE history of Islam is with a few sites www.islamreview.com/articles.htmanswering-islam.org/Living, thats what they are taught to say... anything that goes against their faith if they cant prove it other wise, they will say its a fake. Just like they say that Muhammed didnt marry a 6 year old and have sex with her when she was 9... they will feed you a bunch of stuff about the bible.. but the hadith and the koran is sooooo bad its troubling at times for me to even read. I will be back later and post the direct links to the hadiths that are WIDELY accepted in the arab world as true... Here is another link about his marriage with "aisha" his bride that was nine... www.islameyat.com/english/issues/mohammad_eisha/mohammad_eisha.htmwww.faithfreedom.org/Articles/sina/ayesha.htm

Here is the thoughts of "the prophet" concerning women.. Mind you this hadith is widely accepted today by sunni muslims.. "I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were women....[because] they are ungrateful to their husbands and they are deficient in intelligence. " (The Prophet Muhammad) Sahih Bukhari V 2, B 24, N 541 www.faithfreedom.org/Articles.htm#women

Those links were very informative, thank you. If we look at the news, the concept of "peace on earth" seems more and more like utopia. Along the peace line, I saw that the Nobel prizes for this year will start being announced on Oct. 2nd... And of course, there is the Nobel Peace Prize. I went back on the list of all of them, since 1901... One thing I always wondered about was how Yasser Arafat ever had one. I saw, among other things, that on the official site of the Nobel Prize, there is no biography of Arafat. Instead, there is a lecture written to make up for it... And, the lecture just skips over the Arafat's "activities" as original founder and leader of the PLO. Yasser Arafat The Nobel Peace Prize 1994 nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/1994/arafat-bio.html It is a fact that people tend to have short memory about a lot of things, regardless of how good, bad and even ugly. But, the truth about him - and others - the facts, are here: www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com/arafat_en.htmlThat, beyond the man, is only modern history, and only a small part of it, about who/what paved the way for what we see happening today, worldwide. We can go as far back as we want and find the real reason for all these events... I certainly don't know everything, I am not an expert either. I do know one thing: it is important and vital to look beyond the current politics, everywhere, especially as Christians. I lived in Arab countries back when they were fighting for their independence. There were horrors just like today, same thing, terrorism is not new at all. But, religion was not mentioned back then in their "fight". Today, everything hinges on that: religion, and we need to be vigilant about what is going on. In my humble opinion, when we start mixing politics and religion, all the lines are blurred.... Being a Christian is not about being so spiritual that our feet don't touch the ground anymore. It's to know, and still go.
