I have a question...If a pastor was rebuked or just told he was wrong for doing something and he then starts saying from the pulpit that he is gonna ground you for a certain amount of time and then if you won't comply he will have you removed and restraining order place against you from coming to that church. What kind of power is he demonstrating?
What it is is sad. Its abuse of authority, to kick someone out based upon the fact that they have called you on your mess. Its called intimidation. Sounds like one making an example of someone that spoke out against his or her error. Basically telling others if I'm wrong you better not say a thing, or you will end up like so and so.
This smells of someone who thinks they are above the law. but know this God will clean house and set things back in proper order.
Whats even sadder to me is the fact that some individuals get this thought in theirminds like its "my church" and beacuse its "my ministry" and think they can do what ever they wish. How does this line up with the word of God? This is been seen more often these days. it makes me want to cry.
