Nina there is no scripture I have found that says "Faith is calling into existence things that are not as though they were". We have a lot of stuff that we call faith that isnt faith at all.

Amen. If God has no ordained something for you in the first place how can you call it to be?
Faith is also believing God to do what He has promised you that He will do based on His will for your life not just loud exclamations grasped out of thick air. If God has told me i will be a missionary then i believe that He will bring that to pass through opportunities and provide for me because it is part of His good pleasure for my life.
Makes no sense for me to now claim a mobile home in South Dakota.
My second point: u cannot have faith if u dont first know what the will of God is for ur life.

I also believe that we should stop this should we shouldnt we approach to walking with God and rather focus on cultivating the kind of life in which guidance makes sense.

Makes no sense for me to now claim a mobile home in South Dakota. Exactly, because this shows your faith is too low. If you were REALLY believing God, you'd be claiming a condo in Montana.
