I just thought it was interesting because even in reference to coming to a service to sing, you have to get permission and then there are songs you can sing and songs that you can't etc. Even going to the concerts (I'm in Philly and went to a few 'live concerts'...LOL) they make us "practice praise" They have three types: 1) Just applause 2) applause and a little 'screaming' 3) The WHOLE shabang
Everytime they do it, I'm amazed that this is all to put in different areas of the CD to sound like we actually did that at that time. It really is moreso a show. We can even look at people from times back like Crawford and Caesar (I do like them though :-) )and although they have a few good songs out, their look is so "young" to attract more people to buy their music...and honestly, if that is the only way you are making money, it is very possible that you'll do whatever it takes.

I think what is really sad is that we are so concerned about people that have never said they were Christians. And we are less concerned about a generation that has embraced the N word and have demoralized women and have made it okay to not work hard for what you want in life. We have failed this generation by giving them everything and not making them work for anything.. Hip Hop aint the problem... we are...
