I know God has revealed, but Clarity is a whole nother matter. hmmm good point.. please explain... well I know God has revealed certain things about His vision for my life through dreams, and prophecy. I have an understanding of the "how"...but the "what", and "when" is where clarity is needed. I honestly at times do not know what I should be doing, but I know How it should be done. For use of example, God's vision for me maybe that he wants me to open a business. I know HOW to write poetry, I know HOW to minister through song, I know HOW to effectively communicate with business professionals on all levels, I know HOW to cook, I know HOW to write grants, I know HOW to obtain sponsorships for various programs., I know HOW to manage people, I know HOW to keep books, I know HOW to .. I know the How's (the tools). But the what? I don't have a clue. I used the "hows" of my life to explain the many "whats" I am faced with. I write poetry so will I become an independant author? I can cook so will I own my own restaurant. I know the ins and out of running a non-profit organization, will I own one. I believe that I will own a business, but what business is what I need clarity on. I mentioned those things, because I have a driven passion for all of them. And then there is the "when".. which I won't even begin to discuss. I have felt that I have missed a season on a certain business, and the waiting for doors to open is another "when" factor. I trust God and know that while I am actively waiting, where he leads, I will follow with out question...unlike times past. I hope that explains where I am coming from.

When David was faced with his giant he RAN to the battlefield to confront him.... also... What you have been giving has been good enough to get you where you are now. If you want to move to greater things it will require greater sacrifice.. ( and we aint talking about money... ) or in todays lingo.. if you keep givin what you been givin.. you keep gettin what you been gettin... He has also been ministering to me personally that much more discipline is required.. one of the challenges with being gifted in certain areas is that you get lazy and complacent because some things come easily... dont float on the gift...

I believe God can give us His revelation and vision for our purpose in life and that becomes what we plan our lives around. However, success requires a lifestyle of faith, meaning some things we will never have immediate insight about but as we follow Him, He'll reveal it season by season. I believe God does this on purpose! The things that we don't have immediate insight about many times come in the form of the "added" or "commanded" blessings that the bible talks about. This mean God has some things in store for us that we don't expect, although we live in expectation, because of our faith and decision to follow Him to direct our paths and order our steps, success, education and networks in fulfilling what he's called for us to walk in.

Hey Guys, I have a question for you all... Have any of you felt that you may have missed certain things that God had planned for your life due to timing? There has been one thing that God has told me to do that I have been struggling with... Not because I haven't gone to be obedient but because it seems like I have a lot of success and failures in this one area. The failures aren't quite due to being disobedient... but due to being tired at times and needed to shift my focus on to other things at times. Nor is it a easy task...
I have come to the ultimate conclusion that maybe my failure has been due to me trying to accomplish the goal in my strength rather than in the Lord's... I know I'm being vague about what I'm speaking about but trust me... It is something that requires that I get my butt in gear... I just never took the time to really pray and say, "God please help me accomplish this..." I simply assumed that I needed to get cracking because it was soemthing God told me to do...
But in the meantime some time has passed... And I'm starting to wonder have I missed out on anything because this one goal as yet to be fully accomplished.
So I ask this question... How can one tell what plans God's has for you that you simply can't miss as along as you are obedient? And what plans you could miss in regards to timing? I haven't been giving a time frames for anything that I believe that God has revealed to me. For the most part I have just kept moving through and holding on in faith...
But most recently I have started to wonder and become concerned that I could be missing out on something God has for me because I have been slow on my timing? Any testimonies or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Keep me in prayer guys...
Kitty

You know, I didn't have a clue on what you would respond with, but just so you know that those "nuggets" are heaven sent, I was blessed to hear the exact same words "Don't float on the gift" yesterday evening. I mean the exact same words. While I sure didn't believe I was floating on the gift. I can look back at some things that I have started...and unfortunately have not finished. For instance...I wrote a book....I wrote the first ten pages then stopped. I'm not being boastful or proud, but the book is really good. But...I stopped. I haven't even looked at it for the past 3 months. Discipline, and greater sacrifice...I do hear the spirit this day.

Absolutely, and I believe that for those of us who "know", we really do know and understand this. We do our best to walk by faith, and stay on the road that God has mapped out for our lives....but I must admit that even I have questioned the walk at times. Ultimately, I know that However the Lord directs, He will never steer me wrong, and as I continue to yeild to Him, and following his leading, things will work out as planned.

Any testimonies or advice would be greatly appreciated. Keep me in prayer guys... Kitty One thing we definitely have to do when we are walking out the destiny of the Lord is to keep in contact with headquarters. We need to be in a consistent mode of prayer, seeking and asking the Lord for strength, guidance and to make us aware of HIS timing regarding things. There have been times where I questioned if I was moving in the right timing and whether I had missed God. There have been times where I thought maybe God moved on in a different direction and I missed it. There have been times where I have been tired and wanted to quit. There have been times where I have gotten complacent and stopped investing my faith. There have been times I didnt understand what in the world God was doing. There have been times I have said why does it seem everything in my life always seems to be put on hold? There have been times why I wonder why it seems I have to suffer through the things I do... But then I hear..... " To whom much is given... much is required.. " There have been times when I wanted to quit that GOD encouraged me to keep going... There have been times when I really didnt want to invest my faith any more GOD does something that makes me trust Him all over again in a totally new way. There have been times when I thought I blew it.. God said NO you didnt.. There have been times when I thought. man does GOD even see what I am going through, He sends a word or gives me a scripture that assures me that HE CARES... When I thought I was at the end of my rope.. GOD adds more rope... When I thought this is the end of the vision... GOD increases it... When I thought.. OK this is it I am NOT going one step further.. GOD challenges me to take another step... If you are not sure which way to go.. KEEP CHECKING HEADQUARTERS..... I cant tell you how many times God has given me a dream, vision, word, confirmation, prophecy, scripture that lets me know for an assurity... I AM WITH YOU !!!!!

OMG God just droped another scripture in my spirit concerning this.....
Habbakuk 2:1-3
1) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answere when I am reproved.
2)And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the Vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:though it tarry, wait on it, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarryy.
wewwwwww I feel the Holy Ghost Right Now!!!! I also believe that if God spoke something over your life I trully believe that it will come to pass and you cannot not die until it does.
Also I want to add this one as well, This is for GIANT. Proberbs 29:18.... Where there is no vision , the people perish; but he that keepeth the law happy is he. I know Giant this is one of you favorite passage of scripture....
