Again we realize that in everything there tends to be a negative aspect. What we need to do is stopc focusing and concentrating on the negative. I am not saying ignore it. I am saying pray about it and MOVE ON. There have been charletons in the church since day one. Why dwell on that and allow it to break one's focus on God. Them folks will have to answer to GOD about that. Pray for them. Some of us cannot just "pray about it and move on", until God releases me from something, I do not move. Our problem stems from just praying about it and moving on. God is going to bring balance - but He will use people to do it. This is true, bro. However, I really don't want to focus on the person more than I do the teaching. The Holy Spirit will work with the people if they allow Him to. I am not against the teaching on money. I am really against how they distort and use the Word of God to manipulate someone to give. AMEN! This is true. I don't really watch much of Christian television. Really just Joyce Meyer and Charles Stanley. However, this person just happened to be on before Joyce Meyer and as I was waiting for her, I caught the last few minutes of what he was saying and it brought back some of the things that I was studying and seeking God about which is how did we (general, and definitely not all) stray so from what His word actually says.

Let me clear some things up.
I do not believe or support the idea that we should just ignore something and stick our heads in the sand and act like there is nothing going on.
When I say Move On what I am saying is this.. Be watchful as the Word commands, Be prayerful as the Word commands, but dont get STUCK there. Many times what happens with saints is that we have a burden from the Lord about something or an issue. But what we tend to do is carry the burden longer that GOD intends for us to do so. The burden should drive us to prayer AND ( a very important part that people tend to neglect ) intercession for that person, their realtionship, their walk with God and the ministry of the Lord Jesus through them. Then MOVE ON... Pray as lead by the Lord but keep on movin.. dont get stuck in the place of seeing just the ERROR.. That is what I mean by the demon of wrong focus.. ( thats just what I call it ).. Many saints focus on the error more than Jesus the solution.
Its not all the teachers teaching wrong. There are a great great many people teaching sound doctrine.
We just dont happen to see those. One person might come on TV from Atlanta lets says and be off. But there are hundreds of preachers in that same city doing it right.
I always remember that when Elijah thought he was the only one left.. God said uh uh.. I have 7,000 who have not bowed their knee to Baal or kissed his lips. God always has a remnant of folks who are doing it GOD's way. And that remnant might be larger than you think.
Even right here in this forum we cant even agree on basic bible doctrine. Cant agree on hell.. Cant agree on tithing.. etc etc....
So its not like we got it all together either LOL.

Praise God for them! Indeed (dont' make me do it GDD ;D) And let the church say amen!

Sometimes there is a burden placed upon the heart of a believer. A burden placed there by the Lord and until you are released from it, that is what you will "see". I for one am not focusing on the wrong thing, nor am I focusing on the men/women of God. My focus is truly upon the Lord and His Word and therefore when things seem to stray from that TRUTH then you cannot help but notice it. Yes, there are times when people want to focus just on the "negative" stuff; or they want to judge the man and woman of God - that is not my goal here. We cannot put a sheet over our eyes and not say anything about this "teaching" that goes on from time to time. Sure, people go to the extreme about many things, which was really my point; I am not saying that the preaching on money and material wealth stands alone. God is purifying His people in several areas and it is my belief that this is one area where many of us fall short. Baby girl, hear me and hear me well! You only see what’s happening because you are now on the outside looking in. Before, you weren’t. You’ve been given eyes to see and you are burdened for specific reasons. Firstly, you’re being burdened to pray for the preachers and the saints because the love of money and prosperity in the Church has taken over. Secondly, the very burdens you have borne for the Spirit’s sake in this season will become the vehicles which carry you to your destiny. Camels are beasts of burden. They depict intercessory burdens that the Spirit is wanting us to attend to. He is looking for houses who are willing to feel what the heart of God feels; to have our hearts broken by what breaks God’s heart. The Bride will gladly welcome both the Spirit of God and all He brings with Him, no matter the discomfort, inconvenience or how it looks to those outside. It may not look like it, but God is still in control. He knows that you are wanting more of Him and He trusts you enough to do that. Don’t buckle now. You are becoming the salt of the earth and a light to the world! The only “burden” God will give to you is understanding. The burden and heaviness on your heart may feel weighty now, but the load gets lighter and lighter and very soon you’ll cry out, "Abba, Father" for Him to increase the load because you want more and more of Him and His will to be done in and with you. This is part and parcel of processing and being taken to another level in Him. Soon, you’ll once again know what Jesus meant when He said, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Amen. You are correct in discering the season that I am in at this time. I also know the kind of "burden" this is and I have not taken it as one too difficult to bear for if it were I would not be able to do so. Thank God for the Holy Spirit within that gives me the strength to spend the many hours in prayer - first becoming more intimate with my Father and secondly, in prayer based on the "assignment" He has given me.
