Deuteronomy 14:22-29 gives some different instructions than what we have been taught regarding the tithe..
Deuteronomy 26:12 states that the tithe should go the Levite, the widow, the orphan, and the stranger..and Malachi 3 states to bring the tithe to the storehouse...so, this is loaded question as the answer could vary depending own what chapter and verse of the Bible you're looking at..
