ok. LANL what do you think about the site. How did you find it? I don't disagree with the picture or the message; however i am not an advocate of this church and their beliefs.... IMO the message of sex need to be taught appropriately to married couples, singles and children as well. I applaud this ministry as they are thinking outside the box and trying to meet people in their struggle. A friend of mine sent me the link..... I don't have a problem with the picture as I understand the context...Nikkol has a thread about Pentecostal Preacher Sherman Allen and I am more disturbed about a quote in that thread regarding Prophetess Bynum.... This young lady said Bynum was preaching at their church and went to the hotel room that night and 17 "sexual" demons were licking all over her....... Now me I have a problem with that more so than this website and if I would have heard JB say that I would have become ballistic! |

I didn't read that.... But there are no picture of the licking demons  ... You go to this church home page, and see a woman with extra short dress on, with her leg wrapped around a man, and no sign saying this is my husband.. It is a turn off. |

This is just a little of what I think about this, and I did take the time to "look around" the site and the other links: - The picture(s): The title is the sex challenge and the picture is "suggestive" enough to mislead people and have their minds turn to anything but christian thinking... - I'm sorry, I have been married, and I am not questioning the intentions and goals of the ones who came up with this "challenge". But, since when do married couples need to intensify their sex life in order to achieve greater/better intimacy? And, I have to say this: greater and better intimacy with a spouse does NOT necessarily come FIRST from greater sex activity. Period. If we limit the understanding of intimacy to the physical aspect of sex, we have missed the entire point of God's actual will for sex. As for unmarried ones, I don't think he changed his mind?? What are they going to do after 30 days? Turn them loose?  - I don't think that the social environment of the targeted people really matters. - Finally, my question is: . If those "leaders" have chosen to tackle this issue openly, what/who makes them experts on the subject? . Since they already talk a lot about having gotten the ears of the (secular) media with this endeavour, then what purpose does it actually serve? . If they stay in the news enough, is that going to become a movement? Is there going to be sex challenges all over the place? . Being a christian leader, no matter what your status as such is, does not make you an expert in dealing with these matters. . AND: how do they measure the results of the challenge? Are they also going to publish "testimonies"? Should be interesting ;D |

If this freaky statement is true.... their were some heavy demons in that room.... She was in some spiritual battle, and it may not have anything to do with the congregation. It probably have to do with the principalities and demonic forces in the city. The room she was in, was probably used for witchcraft the involve sex demons. I have heard of ppl being raped in their own home by demons.... That's why ppl need to be educated in spiritual warfare and know how to fight. I have heard of some freaky things, by ppl that have been attacked by demon after exposing some of the enemy devices and tricks. Because they didn't properly cover themselves with the blood and/or didn't repent and put all of their issues under the blood. Example.... they exposed all of the deep work of darkness, but haughtiness and pride reign in their life... They will get their butt whipped by a group of demon because their an open door. The media lies so much and twist thing around so much, you have to discern what is part true and what is a lie. |

Yeah..there is alot of sexual activity going in motel and hotel rooms. Yet, as sad as this statement this may have opened the door to some other things. One shouldn't specualte on this because there is more to that statement than what we may see or even hear. Now, can get the focus off of JBW and back on the post ??  . Nina2 I have to agree; I attended a church there was so much talk about being to have sex because "they were married"...that couples were getting married right and left. A parent of a young lady who was married during that time..told me she didn't like someone because he lied about sex misdoings, and etc with the young lady who went on to become his wife..and I point blank "isn't that what all the marriages that have taken place been about". Her daughter married married less than a year after her engagement was announced..the other young man and his wife waited approx 2 - 2 1/2 after the Pastor told that they should wait. |

I always thought initmacy goes beyond sex, and that is what most women are looking for in relationship with their spouses. I believe this one of the big disapointment, having sex without initmacy. It should be initmacy to gain a better sex life, than having sex to gain a greater initmacy. The web-site is a big turn off... it sending the wrong message... with the title and picture.

If I am not mistaken, i believe men (probably not men who have established themselves in Holy Ghost) build intimacy through sex.....many women in the church have issues with sex and performing various acts with their husband therefore leaving a lot of men frustrated.... If you ever counsel married couples their two top issues are money and sexual issues.... |

I don't think that the real reason for that is actually related to intimacy. I think that it's because both money and sex can be - and often are - power related issues....
