There are times that I probably should be more concerned than I am... but these are what my feelings and thought are for today...

I just want to make sure not to focus more on them than others... But ultimately the wages of sin is death to all of us... regardless of the sin...

It seems that there are two different issues and they don't "connect".

First, McDonalds move - as a business - to support the gay agenda and making the commitment to put their weight behind it. When a corporation of that size makes such a move, it's just about that, business.
So, on that level, definitely, there is no reason, in absolute, to help them fulfill that commitment. Even though I suspect that many parents will have a hard time saying no to their little ones when it comes to that happy meal...

Then, there is the homosexual lifestyle, and what it implies, biblically and otherwise. The fact is that gays are human beings. As such, christian or not, I don't believe that they should be subjected to hatred.

Where things get mixed up in dialogue, imho, is when we talk about that part, and also having compassion. Meaning, being able to look beyond the sin, and still care and love.
And, for that, there are also many non christian organizations doing a lot to help the ones who are very sick and are completely forsaken by their families, and could not make it another day if it were not for volunteers bringing them meals, medicine, etc...

Now, putting things in reverse: as a christian, would I support a secular organization who does that, and help those who are so afflicted find some comfort, even in death?

Yes, I would. But I would still fight the urge for the fries and going to McDonalds....

Since i was a child i have been quiet happy being and staying in the minority of anything. If i have a conviction i am quiet happy to let everyone carry on with what they believe and choose to do because i like them to accord the same treatment so on this my posts i am truly not trying to persuade anyone-God is well able to speak to His own children about what He wants from them.

One of the areas that God has called me to is intercession for the nations. I run a prayer group in my house on tuesdays and as of July i will be launching a 24/7 justice prayer house in Elmina which will then be reproduced across all of what used to be the former slave ports to cry out to God for the ending of genocide

After having been on my face travailing and wailing to me my prayers would have been a waste of time if i then knowingly go and support the same thing i have been crying to God on ma threshing floor about

Oh yes and that includes the rights of the poor but to get up from off the threshing floor and also not physically do things about the plight of the poor is bad.

Sin is sin we all agree however different sins have different consequences. Someone telling a lie and the erection of say a pagan temple in a neighbourhood are certainly not going to have the same consequence.

There are major spirits that captivate nations. I wish one day that we could have a discussion on high level warfare -the highest principalities in the second heavens enter a nation through abortion

Another gateway is homosexuality which goes beyond just sin but the physical mockery of the order that the lord has put in creation.

Life is a very big deal to God and i am sorry it just does not bring the consequences that say stealing a handbag would on a national level. Life, its preservation, its tampering, its mutation its fiddling with is a major issue to God for after all why tell our children not to steal or kill while it is ok for a mother to kill her unborn child? (side tracking here but i just wanted to point something out since abortion came up)


The western world is in trouble because of the inability of many to recognise the gradual process that erodes a nation. This mindset that we are not to concentrate on certain sins is due to a lack of knowledge on how principalities and powers rule. We focus on certain sins because the spirits behind them are the gatekeepers into nations .

Stealing a handbag or lying will send me individually to hell but it certainly will not send the area where i live into spiritual slavery but abortion, homosexuality, false religions certainly will.

The major strongmen is what we should be after because get rid of the generals and the batallion will follow. We recognise that in the physical so why are we ignorant when it comes to spiritual warfare?

The word of God tells us to contend for the faith and i do not hold to this idea that my lack of buying, my letters, my marches etc do not make a difference.

Just because the antichrist is gonna come does not mean that Bee cannot play a part in restraining his coming and his effects .

I believe i have a promise from God that i will see a genocide free africa before my death, as i pray i believe that my community will experience a greater outpouring than even was here when John Wesley walked these my shores.

I expect OUTRAGEOUS answers to my prayers because if not then WHY PRAY? and i am also willing to die for the causes in which i believe which is exactly why i cannot be part of moves in my community to restrain gay spas and then stop at McDonalds to eat.

Matter of fact i dont believe that anyone should be a christian unless they are willing to die for something-it may be different issues for each of us since God has different callings on us but just because my friend is not called to oppose the same thing that i am called to oppose means that i will not support them in what God has called them to oppose-

for some it may be education, others the elderly etc etc but we are one body and frankly we are not going to go very far if just because we may not be called to be vividly outspoken on the same issues as someone else that we presume they are not walking in love.

That to me is rank foolishness and a body divided is exactly why we are not getting anywhere. It is easier to go with the flow than to speak out against it so for me anytime i see anyone heralding an issue i know that it comes at great price and is being done because of the burden of the lord.

We christians are to be the loudest protesters of any sort of injustice-if our light and our stand cannot be seen and shine b4 all the world then why did Christ die?

Why can we christians also not be erecting strongholds so that when anyone in our city and nation want to pass unrighteous laws they will think twice because like john knox they fear our prayers more than they do that of man or like elijah they know we will be a troubler to them.

That to me is love-to see the destruction of men and women and a nation that will lead them to hell and warn them about it-what greater love is there than that?

This closet christianity where no one on our communities know we are there to oppose unrighteousness and where only our families and the folks at our church know that we are saved is a shambles.

People are led to to Jesus with lasting fruit in their lives through radical preaching just as much as through the soft approach.

Jesus is both lion and the lamb. I have had enough of those who are mercy oriented 'seemingly' criticizing the ministries of those who are called to be Reformers forgetting that many of the civil liberties that their very selves enjoy today will not be there if some 'seemingly outspoken radicals did not make a stand in history . And vice versa.

The ministries of John Hagee, Juanita Bynum, Loue Engle and co are just as valid and needed as those of Joyce Meyer and Charles Stanley and TD Jakes. None rule the other out.

Different administrations-one God, one Christ so that all men will hear the truth-that Jesus died, rose again that we may live in that Father and be sons and daughters of the Most High.

In 2000, leading sociologists predicted that by 2010, the lgbt community would comprise the largest, best educated, wealthiest, most influential minority, not only in the U.S., but in the entire western world.

"This is that", and McDonald's is who and what they are because they know what's up.

Now, Mc Donald's, a nonChristian, but big-time favorite eatery of whole lot of Christians, openly and clearly announces their corporate initiative to fund and support the lgbt lifestyle, which is unquestionably contrary to a whole lot of scripture.

So exactly what, if anything, is a Mickey D french-fry-craving, follower of Christ, supposed to do in response???

And by "supposed", I mean scripturally, spiritually, fruitfully, looks like Jesus...

Is this a matter of personal conviction or a call to arms for GOD's people?

I just don't want to be giving up yet another of life's little pleasures (and wasting time) in yet another willy-nilly Christian boycott that is merely straining out gnats and swatting flies!

Because when it comes to the Christian response to the "Homosexual Agenda", (btw, would someone please post a link to that particular document?) I think we strain and swat... A LOT.

Seriously... I mean this in all seriousness... How exactly is their "life style" being spread? They don't have poster boards up saying...let's be gay! Not to mention like I said before...We get into trouble when we focus on one particular sin oppose to all sin.

And also... why are discussing this as if we don't have plenty of gay people who profess to be Christian? Why are we focusing on a corp. like McDonald's when we have churches allowing gay folks to have leadership position within the church?

These issues start at home folks...

I'm more intersted in solving a problem than playing games about a large corp like McDonalds. Yall can start writing letters today but with McDonald also being a group that is one of the largest corp that hires teens, gives out money for college, and are TIGHT with there advertizing.... How effective are you really?

Now again... If this is something that you feel lead to do by God then by all means... By sure to not buy another McDonald's product again.

But let me alert you all to something... Most kids know who Ronald McDonald is before that can recognize a picture of Jesus Christ. ( not that it's a true picture anyways...)

The reason that I know this to be true was because it was shown in the movie SuperSize Me.

If we want to go after homosexuality... By all means... hit at the root...

In a few years the gay community in europe will be the richest community. Did that happen by chance -certainly not. We are destroyed for lack of knowledge says the word of God. We are quick to believe the muslim agenda and yet are indifferent to the lgbt agenda right under our noses. Here in England now they are teaching homosexual sex education to primary school children as young as 7 did that law come into effect by chance.

We focus on certain sins because they are the roots of many other sins. There was lying going on in the OT and other sins etc all the time however why did some sins provoke God so quickly to judgement like Jeroboam's golden calves?

Why would God send prophets to kings to pronounce judgements immediately when certain sins where committed and not about certain other issues?

The point is whether or not any action of mine makes any difference is besides the point for me-for me personally and for my conscience is why i do it.

Jeremiah preached alone for all the years of his life and never saw a convert and at the end he was put into a log and sawed in half. It does not matter if anyone listens to us or if there is seemingly no results-matter of fact act only to see results then that would be scary.

Paul told Timothy to preach in season and out of it-in other words whether it is convenient, making a difference or not making a difference, whether u are listened to or not listened to-keep at it.

When His Dark Materials came out i wrote to Philip Pullman and he wrote back to me. It was quiet a lengthy letter i wrote and i certainly did not expect it to go past the trash of his 'letter reader'.

Sonehow he wrote back and invited me to an event saying he would find time to speak to me during the course of the evening. I did not make it to the event but i know before God that at least i preached the gospel to that man-whether or not he had read it, or it had even reached him i as a believer had dispensed my duty.

I think the attitude of 'how effective can i be against a great corporation' is exactly what Jonah felt about Nineveh but God can use anyone anywhere to do anything.

Even if the hearers reject the message it does not matter what matters is that Christ was preached.

The point i personally i am making and someone help me out here is that it would be laughable of me to spend hours weeping and travelling over the stronghold of witchcraft and druidism in Cornwall where i live and yet as i walk down my high street stop into the New Age shop to buy potpourri.

Is there anything wrong with potpourri -absolutely not but my money would go towards keeping that business open regardless of whether or not the thing i buy is New Age or a regular thing particularly when there a million shops i could get it from.

Where my Mcdonalds is situated there are many other take away shops so i would rather go there for my take away just as i would rather shop in a shop that i know has fair trade agreements that in my local world renown sweasthop brand.

In the same way i would not protest against certain movies and then go and pay to see it.

No sis, not at all. you are not the only one who feels that we should put our money where our mouth is. If anyone thinks that this is just about not eating fries then they have totally missed it.

And again, I am against all sin - this thread just happens to be about homosexuality so why that phrase keeps popping up, I have no idea.

And I believe that an actual "homosexual agenda" document does not exist. However, to promote anything positive about the homosexual lifestyle - be it marriage, civil unions, sex education etc. would be a part of the agenda and something that a Christian should not promote because it is against the will of God.

Also, if more Christians would give up "the fries" our stance wouldn't look so small - however, for me it is at least a start and it is there that I will begin by not supporting the McDonald's franchise. Besides, it will also help towards my healthy eating

Let me ask a very important question? What does the fact that the gay community has wealth have to do with the fact that they are gay?

Why is that important? Did they ripe people off to get their wealth? Did they steal? is it an important point to suggest that we as Christians should go after their wallets because if they some how lose money they will stop being gay?


Sister Bee... are you suggesting that homosexuality is a root of other sins? I'm honestly asking this question... Because I was under the impression that the bible states that "Love of money was the root of all evil."

I see people here wanting to do something that states that you dislike homosexual behavior... But I have yet to see anyone really suggest something that solves a problem....

And lastly... I notice that no one has even bothered to anwer my questions about the fact that we as Christian have yet to deal with the so call "Gay Agenda" that exist WITHIN the church already... We aren't we pulling together as a group about this? Why aren't we pulling together about the fact that in America we have an ordained gay bishop?

To me McDonald's with is NOT a Christian organization... but a business that offers EQUAL TREATMENt to people of ALL RACES AND CREEDS>>>> AND Until we get to the point of dealing with all the gay choir directors accross the nation... the surely I'm not going to tell McDonald's how to do their business...

Again if you feel lead to do this because you believe that this is something that God is calling you to do then please be obedient.

But let's not cross a line to make any suggestion that if other christians are NOT in agreement that we are some how missing God.

I do have a question for you.... I don't mean to be picking on you... But I find it to be an intersting question that was asked but you didn't answer.

When you found that the company that you worked for MCI supported the gay agenda... ( I would be curious to understand how...) How long was it before you left the job?

Did you quit immediately? Or did you wait for period of time to find another job?
