I didn't want to throw off the other thread so I started a new one for this.
Okay, I looked it up. The first book I mentioned is called Fascinating Womanhood, by Helen Andelin. The book is fascinating. I think I'll order it again. I had said that I wanted to have a copy of it especially when the Lord allows me to have a "friend" or be in a relationship. I had bought it when we were studying in in Sunday School and I was so passionate about the teachings in the book that I gave my copy to someone who had a question about submission. So for those who don't want to buy Steve's book, if you're interested in something along these lines, I highly recommend this book. I don't remember this book being overloaded with scriptures either. She just talks about men and what they need, how they think, and how a woman can treat a man so that he will love and adore her and basically have her dreams come true about marriage. It will even help you with your friendships with men in general.
Her husband Aubrey Andelin, wrote Man of Steel and Velvet. I didn't read this one but it came highly recommended by our teacher.
While I was buying Steve's book today I spotted two more books that I intend to buy. they caught my eye.
Getting Naked Again: Dating, Romance, Sex, and Love When You've Been Divorced, Widowed, Dumped, or Distracted by Judith Sills
and
Why Him? Why Her?: Finding Real Love By Understanding Your Personality Type by Helen Fisher
