You ever notice how things that are not essentials in our faith get so much more attention vs lets say a prayer request thread? There was a Katrina discussion that has over 1000 views and over 150 responses, but we haven't gone to the prayer request section to post a simple amen or a actual prayer. I know some people don't like to post prayers, and I'm not saying we are not praying, but do you think we should at least start a prayer chain so that before we come in to argue, debate, share our point of views concerning our Faith we at least thank God for this vehicle he has allowed us to cross each others path...
Once again PLEASE don't take it as I'm saying we are not praying for people, because I know we are, I'm just asking..have you ever noticed...

I'v noticed.
As a prayer warrior, I'm asking God to annoint my fingers to type prayers. My heart is willing but the fingers are weak.
There have been a few post where my fingers were led to post prayers.
I don't pray well in public without the help of the anointing.

I, too have noticed. And I posed the same question some time, ago and got some very interesting answers as to why the prayer requests get few responses. If you have noticed this thread has been read 29 times and there have been 2 responses. This is a serious matter and I don't believe we should take it lightly.

I can't talk for everyone, but for me, I tend to look at things based on the last 20 posts... therefore, although the times read may not go up, it is being read but just not by clicking on the thread.

If you have noticed this thread has been read 29 times and there have been 2 responses. This is a serious matter and I don't believe we should take it lightly. All I can say is those who are moved to add a response will. I just pray that we all take a look at it and make a stand. In my opinion, so many people are being hurt over controversial subjects, doctrine, and other things that has just further divided us, while the world is in an uproar, moral decay and losing faith in God, we decide to talk about "he deep things of God". I believe it is time for prayer time for us to come together of a Body of believers that believe in the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings. Even If you don’t type a prayer on the board, you can still type a "AMEN" or something to give encouragement to the other readers on the board to provoke them to pray as well. God's will be done in this matter! Once again, this thread is not to say that we are not praying...but i am beseeching by the mercies of God, that we encourage others to pray even more!
