I am asking that each of you please pray for me today. I have expressed many times on the BB that there were times that I suffered severely from depression. Well today and last night is one of those days that I am feeling so so so down and a spirit of heaviness is greatly upon me.
I am asking that you please pray for your sister that this burden is released from me TODAY. I know I should have Faith but today it seems as if I can barely make it.
Everyone is asking me what's wrong and I really don't know and can't pinpoint any particular thing but I do know that this is an attack of the enemy and I beseech your prayers.
I am scheduled to speak and minister on Friday night and I truly believe that the enemy is trying to set up a trap to defeat me. But he will not win.
because HOW can one minister depressed and sadden?
Pray for me..

Praise the Lord! He is worthy and you shall come forth as pure gold!!! Hallelujah!
The word given in my spirit to encourage you on today...
Philp. 4: 6-9 6. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. 7. And the peace of of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you
Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
We speak "Peace" in the Name of Jesus! The name of JESUS is greater than depression, his name has conquered all things that are not of God!

Sista LANL, Just wanted you to know that I felt your post so deeply as depression is a battle that I, too, have much personal experience with. I've been praying for you this week, especially regarding your time of ministering and that God would use it to bless and edify others, even while answering the very question you're asking. So, please let me/us know, how did it go?

Thank you all for praying for me, in spite of the sickness in my body the Lord blessed us on Friday night.
I understand now why I was feeling so bad, before I left to speak Friday at around 5:30 we got a call that one of the mother's in our organization went home to be with the Lord. (I always get a heaviness in my spirit before someone close to me passes)
I am going back to Memphis on Wednesday to attend the funeral. Please pray for us and the members of the COGIC.
To you all who may not know the wife of Bishop J. O. Patterson Jr. (his father was Presiding Bishop, and his Grandfather was Charles Harrison Mason) passed away on Friday evening.
That really grieved my spirit and just took us all by surprise. After hearing that news it was really hard for me to get myself together but the Lord blessed in spite of. TGBTG!
So pray for the Patterson family and the church.
