Having recently lost my beloved grandmother, who was also my last grandparent, I truly feel for you. You have my deepest sympathies for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers. Please do the same for me.

Thank you all for your prayers and love. The funeral took place last Saturday and I was able to remain strong enough to participate in the service. The days leading up to it was hard,I couldn't handle the viewings but I made it, thanks to God. After many years of being estranged from my grandfather because after their split, my late grandmother forbad it and told us many unpleasant things about him while growing up.I was reunited with him last year and though our visits were brief, we achieved a closeness i never knew a girl could have with her grandpa.I only can imagine what it could have been like if I had more time with him but didn't (because of my husband's expectations that are expressed in another thread.....the resentment was great but I've had to let it go).
Anyways he passed away suddenly last month and it really crushed the hopes I'd had of spending more precious moments with him.But I bless God for the time i did have and will hold those memories dear.
