VICTORY!!!
Thanks for the prayers. His surgery went well. The nurses said he was the best child the've had. He had his front teeth extracted, and he actually had 4 baby root canals.
I was sitting in the room with him and they gave him this medicine verusy syrup. It makes them very sleepy. Today I saw how much child would act if he suffered from mental retardation.
omg...he had a blank stare and when he tried to talk..he made these sounds like "eek" awwk" He fought the medicine for a while but finally it took hold. He would wake up and say momma, but you know how in movies when everything is in slow motion. thats how it was.
(for the record, its ok to laugh, cause I was cracking up at the hospital)
He is doing well. we are home, he is trying to run around, but the anesthesia is still in his system but you know boys....they will test at all cost.

Sis. Jasmine, I didn't click on this topic in time enough to pray, but I'm glad that all went well. It was funny when you said that it's OK to laugh, because you were cracking up yourself. LOL! I don't remember having anesthesia as a kid, but I did as a high school student when I had to have an outpatient procedure, and it's something else. After the fact, I realized that they were asking me questions to "bring me back around," and I then knew that anesthesia is really a truth serum. I had to get wheeled out to the car, and my mom and I went to Wal-Mart afterwards and I tried to get out--no dice, I was still dizzy. Your son will most definitely test his limits (and yours). I think that's a good sign.

You know, I have had anesthesia on many occasions. (c-sections with all kids)
But I remember when I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled and when they were trying to "bring me out my sleep" they told me it took almost 2 hrs for me to wake up after the precedure was over.
It even happened when I had to have an emergency c-section. When I finally came to the nurse was like..your a hard lady to wake up.. I was like so I have heard.. LoL
man my middle man child is something else when it comes to testing the mother. I have always wondered why male child feel they can do what ever the want in the presence of moms, but wont dare try the same thing in front of their father.

Sis. Jasmine, it's because we scared of Poppa...LOL. Mothers nurture, but fathers challenge. And you don't try to run game on the challenger.
