On March 3 during our All Night Prayer, the word came forth in reference to the overflow that was coming to the house. On that Tuesday, we started praying and asking God for a van because currently, as basically the only drivers in the church, we make multiple trips because we don't want people having to take SEPTA (esp. at night). Well, that same week, we got a call from someone who said that they had just bought a new van and was willing to give us their old van. They just got a new transmission and would give it to us for the price for the transmission and that was it......... we found out later that we needed to get the locks fixed, which was no problem being that we didn't have to pay that much for it. I was on the phone calling locksmith after locksmith and most said that they didn't do vans/cars. I finally found one that was willing to come after work hours (we live 25 miles from our home and have to deal with traffic). When he saw the van, he asked us what we were using it for and we said for our church. He told us that they have a mini bus that has been sitting in their yard from the ambulance company that they bought and if it is still there, they'll be willing to give it to us for FREE!!!! Talking about beginning to walk in the overflow. On top of that, he begin to discuss with us different ways of getting funding from organizations, etc..... the things that in the church we pay $100 or more to hear and they only give you a little info.
On top of that I received a check in the mail from someone that had promised me that if they received the money that they were owed, they'd give me a portion. That was a promise at least almost 6 years ago..........
