Perfect in LOVE.
I John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Bold confidence based on love, cannot coexist with fear. Love, which, when perfected, gives bold confidence,and casts out fear.

There is a Spirit of fear (which in its original language fear means cowardice), and then fear as an emotion. There is a difference between the two. For example, when we are presented with dangerous situations, (Life and Death) fear can cause us to react in various ways that could possibly save our lives, and endanger it at the same time. Another example, is a car wreck. As you watch a car in a head on collision..your heart feels as if it has literally stopped. That is the emotion fear, but once you find out that every one in the car is ok, including the other passengers in the other vehicle..the fear subsides. NOW, a person who has a spirit of fear, "cowardice" LIVES in fear. That heart stopping effect is non-stop for them. They are afraid of their choices, they are afraid, and what they might do. They are afraid of hurting others, themselves, and failing. They are afraid of investing in others, because of one possible outcome. While there may be many good outcomes, its that one (1) outcome that keeps them from trying. Which usually is some preconceived notion of a negative outcome. When you live in fear, you are not walking in faith. |

Wonderful posts. I also want to share that fear disappears as we continue to progress in receiving the Father's Love and His heart for us.
The revelation and realisation of how deep that love us births in us fearless love because in knowing Him we know how tender and plentiful His heart is towards us and that there is no detail of our life too small for Him and so we can rest in that.

I have issues with fear. Not the living your life kind of fear. But fear of ghost type fear. I use to ,I say use to because I am getting over it. I use to get afraid of t.v movies and stuff to had dead people in it doing stuff. Even t.v commercials that were advertising a scary movie  I would be up all night just scared for the sake of being scared. It was bad ... I hated it like nothing else.. I was never afraid of the living but I was afraid of the dead... |

Plus other people's stories spook me as well How about you could tell me a scary story and now I am awake all nightbecause of your experience? Sad I know |
