Now what is it about suffering that we generally as women seem to looove?
Many women like to be seen as the ones who 'are enduring' and how they are suffering or how they suffered at the hand of x,y and z.
Now some situations do call us to endure i believe but many really dont and yet we will still stick with it.
Especially when it comes to the issue of relationships courtship especially. Why do we want to cling on to someone when it is clear that the man doesnt want you, has never wanted you, is never going to want you.
Why do we do ourselves so bad? Put relationships aside why do most of us delight in having such low self-esteem and blaming everything on the men in our lives?
This is a subject dear to my heart. I know many women are not like that but a very very huge percentage overall certainly are.......
Looking forward to more dialogue

I think that for a long time, and many reasons, many women have had an "identity crisis", both on the spiritual and natural level. Of course, this is just my personal "opinion" (Since I'm still making my way through moving boxes, it might impair my thinking Maybe a very personal experience could illustrate some of what I mean: one of my Dad's (and I loved him a lot) favourite quotes was "You are going to bend or you are going to break". I did neither of these two things.... I was born free and I stayed that way.

Would you both care to expound on that bit that Keita highlighted?

I agree with Keita and Lilah, for so long "sisters" "women" have been treated as second class citizens both spiritually and naturally...
Now for my SISTAHS, we are another whole subject............................ I don't know WHY we go around playing and holding onto the "enduring" role only to be fooled into believing that we are some kind of "strong" woman, by putting p with this foolishness...
I'll be back

#1 for me would be "Low Self Esteem" and the fact that they are taught from an early age to put up with it!
At least some are, not all...
