How do we reconcile humility and the need for a healthy self esteem? How is it possible for a person not to be affected by the attitudes of others? Do you think that it's more a women's issue?

Humility is a correct and proper appraisal of onesself. We are not less than others nor are we more than others. We are eyball to eyball. The hanging down of the head is pride and a false humility.
