Praise the Lord Saints! I would like for us to share some of the ways we as Saints of God are Developing and Winning at successful Marriages. To many times marriages in Christianity are being portrayed in a negative light. So let's share and maybe give hope and help to some of our single brothers and sisters who will one day take this loooonngggg walk down the aisle. First key in a successful marriage is 1. Communication a) communicating openly with God b) communicating openly with your spouse And by open communication I mean as it is written in Genesis 2:25 And they both were naked the man and his wife and were not ashamed. Just as we lay out open before the Lord we must open up and lay our hearts, feelings and emotions out before our spouses. That's all for now I' ll be back for more Everyone come on join in......

I am learning to be more quiet. Just to shut up...lol There is a tendency for me to want to direct EVERYTHING.... And most of the time, my husband may have the same idea, but is unable to have his say, or correct a problem because I was always 1st to address them. I am learning how important it is for my husband to FEEL like he is the head, not just because God said it, but also for me to say it and mean it as well. Giving him time to grow emotionally. Understanding that his emotions are just as valid as my own. And that he too may have issues, though he may never speak on them. They are there, and he needs TLC too. 15 years is a long time, and we have become each others best friends. I consider him my 1st alliance. God 1st, but you get my meaning... I go to him with my concerns. We discuss things, and if I can't get the answer I need, THEN I go to my Pastor. I've learned that as a married woman, my 1st ministry is my home... Also, I find it so important to be able to laugh together. And just sit in the same room, and not say a word...just be. It is about relationship. And that takes knowing someone. And that takes honesty. I could go on, (it's the teaching gift in me y'all) but I will stop....
