Their will has been crushed and they have stripped of more than physical possessions..I am not going to respond....zip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also face sucidial thoughts.... one of my friend wanted to kill herself after being beaten by her husband and they had small children. It is very common for the woman to have these thought when dealing with abuse and facing divorce. PPl react different ways... JB can speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves... many continue to suffer in silent even after leaving their abusive husband... And notice he say... I only slapped her and gave his reason as if it give him the right to slap her They never come out and say, "I beat my wife". It took the deadbed for Ike Turner to confuse.... and it took facing jail time for TW....

As I said before, I intended to watch the broadcast, but frankly, I forgot all about it until I came on the board this evening. So I'd be interested to know if anyone, besides sis at, actually saw the show and, if so what you thought about the show. Because, maybe I misunderstood but, I thought the show was the topic of this thread. Anyhoo.... I heard when you get about 50, you really could care less what others think or say about you. As a sista who has been blessed to arrive at that milestone, I just wanted to bear witness, and encourage somebody, that whoever told you that is absolutely, positively 100% CORRECT! ;D ;D I think that particular change of life is, in many ways, a uniquely different experience for women from that of men. It is as if a woman becomes FULLY herself and becomes far less willing to make any apologies for being who she is. The personal empowerment, sense of freedom, and time of review, that comes in this season in our lives can be absolutely intoxicating, totally overwhelming and utterly terrifying. Believe me, a sister definitely has to learn to handle and balance all of that, especially if she's a woman of GOD, let alone a very public one. It has also been my experience that for many who share/observe our lives, and are used to a certain m.o., this change can be very unsettling, to say the least. There are definitely some totally "shook up" folks in my own life right in through here, and their tendency is, from the sublime to the ridiculous, to keep trying to get the "old you" back. Not gonna happen. And I often simply suggest that they might as well go somewhere and sit down, or just keep it moving, until or unless they can come to terms with that. Yep. And I've found that for those who are most familiar with them, the signs are obvious, and far less distressing than they may be to those who are less so. I think that may also be a major reason why I, and a lot of sisters of a "certain age", so especially identify with Juanita Bynum at this stage of her life and ministry. We simply see what she's been through, is now doing, and how she's doing it, from a somewhat different perspective. And I know that's a big part of why, despite all that has transpired, and even while often questioning and seriously disagreeing with a lot of her choices, I nevertheless still always find praying for her so easy. Because my very bottom line perspective remains the same as it's always been: Sista Juanita Bynum is a called, chosen, gifted, and anointed woman of GOD.......with issues. WELCOME TO MY WORLD, LOL! So I plan to check out part 2 of the show, that is, if I remember, lol! 'Cause becoming a member of the "C.R.S. Club" is also usually a part of turning 50+, and not always or necessarily a bad one!

(and we can dance too! LOL)

Say what you want to...the anointing is not for sale at any price. Forgive me if I am wrong... Why are you so angry with JB? Yes she can speak for your niece and many other women who have been abused, and not only physical, but also verbal, emotional, sexual and spiritual abuse. Not only JB, many leaders can speak for her... Just as anointed say... The Church need to address this problem... I feel that too many ppl are clouding their mind with what JB doing or what she should be doing.... But very few are address the real issue.... Abuse is taking place in the Church, in Governement, & in Corporations, by ppl in leadership in this country, male and female. Yes... I believe he did abuse her, because that is what he doing now, emotional and spiritual abuse. He abused his first wife, he attacked two employees, which shows he where he stand.... I believe she stood up to him, but not abused him. I believe when she picked up that brick, she was letting him know that she will fight back, she will protect herself. I also believe she was caught completely off guard Aug. 2007 night, and couldn't defend herself, but lay helpless on that ground. I don't think she sarted anything.... They both were hurt and disapointed about many things, and both wanted to express themselves and the converstion just got hot(speculation)... That's happen in many relationship, only different the man don't jump and try to kill his wife.... by the way.... what anointing she selling? JB told Judge Toler, that she left TW several time and kept going back... She have suffered in silent and I believe God had expose it for her to get out of a very wrong and unhealthy marriage (JB words)... She was force out... God may use her to bring Judge Toler to Christ and her household.... I watch Divorce Court off and on, the first judge was a Christian and a member of COGIC... she had an anointing on her... everybody used to say she look like JB.... This judge need Christ... she is a good person, and I like her, she uses good judgement in doing the case and try to prevent divorce when there is hope.... many time she send the couple to counselling instead of divorce. I pray that God will save her.

I have a question.
What exactly is it that JB can actually SAY to someone other than "Get out of that situation"?

I'm not talking about what we think she would or should be able to say. WHAT HAS SHE SAID other than get out of the situation? I'll see after someone else has seen more. Someone should already say they've heard something.
I haven't really heard anything other than basically get out of it. Which takes me back to my point that I've been driving and it's being ignored. The real issues aren't solved with just get out of it.

AT..that is your assumption !! I am not going to idolize another man or woman. I still read her books and etc..my niece could have told her a thang or two..my problem is this. This does not apply to everyone...but, unless Juanita Bynum Weeks says it ...it ain't so. Meaning Sis Beautiful has been delivered and healed from the wounds of an abusive relationship and has reconciled with her husband..and no one wants to hear what she has to say...just let Pastor Bigshot, Evg GotItTogether, and Prophetess HighandMighty came with the same testimony..it's then and only then will many receive what someone has been saying all along.
When asked if he had ever done this before he said No !! She what makes an expert in an area where women have are doing prison time..because they killed their abusive partners. Many years there was a piece done on some women who serving time a women's prision in Framingham, MA for this very thing. I wonder what they have to say about.
All I know in my own heart I am not going to idolize this woman and make her God..that's a very dangerous place to be and very dangerous place for her to placed in.
By the way..she didn't suffer in silence..her message was loud and clear it's just that people weren't listening and cheered her on as she became a celebrity. And what makes you think Judge Toler is not saved ??
