Guys check out this video that happened at a school in my hometown of Memphis, TN..... This is just awful.......the lyrics to the song that these children are dancing to is "Rape that H_ e" "Rape that B _ _ ch"......from my understanding that once this song is played that children simulate rape acts on the dancefloor.... www.wreg.com/global/story.asp?s=8275333As you see on the video there was little to no supervision at this school sponsored dance...... If I was teaching school and was a monitor at this dance as soon as I heard the lyrics I would have pulled the song..... Pray daily for our children

That hurts my heart to see those children engaging in that.

In ministry with teens, so that doesn't surprise me at all. I am not shocked. I see too much, I read too much, I watch too much, and I get told too much.
Those are actually sex dances, and not "rape dances". You can go on youtube and type in freak dance, and you will find alot more of those videos. Our kids are dancing like this now. Yes, they are.
One of the youth at my church, posted one on her myspace page, and I asked her. Did she really need that mess up there. She laughed and was like.."its so freaky"..and I was like, yea, its way too freaky. Teens are having sex. and those "dry sex humps" moves are sibliminal messages that say, "This is how I get down, in the bed".

Yeah they maybe dancing "dry hump" or whatever but that song clearly said "Rape that Bit_ _ " Rape that Ho_"....
For me it's not so much so the moves or the dancing itself..
I am more disturbed about the song with the lyrics "Rape that anything" being played during a school dance in a school gym at that....

It doesn't shock me. I've seen and heard and done some stuff myself. I didn't do anything like this but I did do the very things I swore and cursed and said I'd never do. It just breaks my heart. The mindset of the children now is almost completely destroyed.
My 8 year old was doing quite a bit of booty shaking a couple of months ago. Just in the mirror shaking it and looking back at it. So I told her after a few days that she needed to stop all the booty shaking. She says to me, "Everybody got a booty Mama". So if I didn't know, I knew from then on you gotta talk straight with the little people. Because if you wait, by the time these folks get to high school they won't be dry humping. They'll be having straight sex and USHER is gonna help them do it with lyrics I WANNA MAKE LOVE IN THIS CLUB. Have yawl listened to that song? He needs his black behind whipped.
And the sad part about it is that if parents were to confront him about those lyrics he would turn around and tell us it's our responsibilty to teach our kids and not leave it to him. But that doggish spirit is still making millions off of all the children who don't have parental guidance.

One of the sisters at my church is over a national Abstinence program. The government funds her and she is able to go to middle and high schools promoting abstinence. Most of her programs are two part. During the government funded part they can't talk about Jesus. But she usually has a second half that's not funded by the gov't and they talk Jesus in that one too. I think it's called I Can Wait. They've done a Cd and everything.
She's done rally's here and they've had Tonex twice and last year they had Tye Tribett.
One of the things she said recently was that when asked/polled, children and teens STILL SAY that their PARENTS have the greatest influence over them when it comes to sex. They say if their parents are open and honest with them about sex they are more likely to abstain. But the media has been feeding us the lie that because the children are away from the parents most of the time due to work and school that their piers have the most influence. But when the children themselves are asked, they still say the greatest power of influence comes from their parents when it comes to sex. So parents have been tricked and bamboozled by the media hype into thinking that they can't help their children do the right thing. Yes we can.
