I know it's been a while and during that time I have been preparing to fly to VA.
In December I had my grandson for a few days during the New Year holiday season. The Sunday before the New Year was to come in..my grandson went up for prayer. I thought he was going to ask for prayer for his hearing..he fooled me. And thought for a minute about what he wanted prayer for..a lesson to be learned from a child
. While this little boy who was barely 6 yrs old..when asked what you like prayer for young man ? Boldly he said " I want to see my cousins and my family"..well, folks..He and I leave from the city he lives in on Friday morning on our way to see "cousins and family". My parents, grandmother, and other relatives have not seen him since he was 23 mths old..and he will attend his brother's 3rd birthday party..what a present, he get to meet his grandfather and his aunt and uncle ( long story..I am still cracking up at turn of events) !! I am more excited than he is because of all that happened within the first 3 1/2 yrs of his life. His Mom called his dad (repeatedly) asking if he would take him for the summer.
God showed himself strong..in the life of a 6 yr. old !! To everyone who has prayed for my son, my son, and grandson regarding this situation...thank you all so much !!
