Police: Wife shot and killed at New Jersey church Three shot in packed New Jersey church AP CLIFTON, N.J. – Police are looking for a man they say fatally shot his estranged wife during services at a New Jersey church and badly injured two other people. Officials say about 200 people were inside St. Thomas Syrian Orthodox Knanaya Church in Clifton during the shooting Sunday. The shooting was in the church vestibule. Police Capt. Robert Rowan says 24-year-old Reshma James died at a hospital. Two other people are in critical condition. All had been shot in the head. Police believe the gunman drove to the church from his home in California. Members of the church are mostly first-generation immigrants from India and their children. ============================================== The church going to have to hire armed security and st up metal detector or whatever you call them

This man probably didn't care where he was and maynot have been a fellow Christian either...

Kitty He drove all the way from California to New Jersey to kill his wife. He was aimin at his wife and killed her, the other two ppl are innocent by stander... Th church was packed wih ppl... I hope the catch him.

Wow that's terrible.....what happened to the conviction? I guess that been left the church. The church is no longer safe (as far as the building goes) But where is the hedge of protection?
