This morning I woke with the question of what is true obedience. Many of us have our own beliefs and opinons what is and what it isn't. In your words please expound, share, and do what you all know to do best which is teach, preach, rebuke, correct, and on the much need insight into this subject of obedience; through the word and your own experiences..and if you think of any other questions you would like to add to the discussion..please by all means do so..
Is being obedient to man before being obedient to God; displaced loyalty towards man; when one's loyalty should be to toward God first?
Is there an order to being obedient ?
Does there come a time that one will become disobedient to man because there is a level of obedience that God is requiring one to be more Him than to man ?
Is there such a thing called "blind obedience"?
Can not understanding what true biblical obedience cause one to fall into behaviors and actions that could bring harm to one's self and others?

Is being obedient to man before being obedient to God; displaced loyalty towards man; when one's loyalty should be to toward God first? YES if your loyalty is toward man more than it is toward GOD then your loyalty is misplaced Simply put as it says in the last book of Ecclesiastes.. Obey God and Keep His commandments.. This is the whole duty of man. Often times YES. Luke 14 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.. This is sometimes what it comes down to Sure... Ask Achan Ask Ananias and Sapphira Ask Saul
