I sent them an email questioning whether or not, a BUSHmeter had been established, and if so, how many promises, compromises, and broken ones had occurred in his tenure. I'm gladly awaiting their response.

I say who cares about a meter.
I am also awaiting to see which promises will be kept and broken - AS I DID FOR EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT whether I voted for them or not.
I don't believe it is a race issue. Simply stated - Obama will SURELY change things (already has).
There were MANY attacks out there about Bush. I was tired of them because whether it was Bush or Obama - we have to respect the role.

I don't believe it is a race issue. Simply stated - Obama will SURELY change things (already has). There were MANY attacks out there about Bush. I was tired of them because whether it was Bush or Obama - we have to respect the role. President Obama only been in office for three weeks and he did more in those weeks than Bush did in 4 years. GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE... My goodness... no one was on Bush Jr., Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagen, Carter, Ford, Nixion, Johnson, Kennedy or Eisenhower(sp) back side... like they on Obama... Yes, it is a race issue. Pres. Obama have a hugh mess to clean up after Bush. He the only one, beside Kennedy, are in touch with the American ppl... He have an heart and love for the ppl... Too many GOP hoping and wishing he would fail.... if he fail, we fail... GOP can be American worst enemy... They showing us just how far they are from the Christian Faith.... It wasn't an issue bailout those bank that can't even tell us what they did with hundreds of billions of dollars from the taxpayers.... but when it come to bailing out the ppl, there is a problem. I once was a republican and will never go back....

I think that the difference here is that this is the first presidency that many ppl actually were watching and are keeping up with (mainly thanks to mainstream media). So before this year, I doubt any of us heard or even watched the inauguration and many more didn't even know what that was let alone how to spell it. <<smile>>
So based on the fact that there's a LOT of things going on, it would somewhat make everything he does be in the same amount of camera exposure as before he was president.
Not sure if I'd pull the "race card" esp. since more than just black ppl voted for him and also ppl not only in the US but around the world are all watching....
