Hey Guys, The problem with things like Facebook is that people will want to take things offline...they will want your phone number, want to keep watch as to when you will be in their neck of the woods etc... i hate to say it but I lie all the time about how much and when I go back to chicago... I just don't want to see certain people. I know it's not a good idea. I think for me the best deal may be to limit and stop being on facebook altogether. I do really hate that because it did allow me to keep intouch with some very close friends and family members daily. I have been told that there are ways to screen what is revealed or sent to everyone as far as comments to be made. I may look into that... But ultimately I think things like Facebook has made me more aware of just how important having a church home and Christian fellowship is... I do truly love you guys! Yes i know that times we fuss and fight on this site. But seriously... I take that serval times over just being in the world... Kitty You don't have to respond to any comments .... ignor those you don't want to be bother with ... they will soon cut you loose |

ROFL Anyway kitty u have the power to let what u want in ur life and what u do no want. God paid a price to purchase us and we have come too far to also allow any junk in our lives and folks that have no business being there in. I dont see why u have to give up Facebook if it was blessing u. Just ignore those looking for u. The only person u owe allegiance 2 is God. It is not like the folks on Facebook are starving people on the street. U have a very real righ no to associate with those u dont want associating with. The power is in ur hand dont let anyone drive u off anywhere. |

Hey Bee,
You are absolutely right... But here in comes the ultimate catch...
In order to truly get away from some people it will require that I be mean or at least rude in some way or another. I am concerned how this will look as a Christian? How will this behavior affect those that are not Christian? It would indeed be easier if I was dealing with people were are Christian because it was just simply reflect on me... But for those who don't know Christ... Or those who are looking for me because they have some issues ( that I just do not have the time or desire or enengy to deal with) how will that affect their views?
This is what concerns me... This is what makes me at times ask myself am I being a good Christian? Amd I doing what Christ would have me to do...
As I said in an earlier post... I'm not really as concerned about it now as I was when I first made this post because I became ill was hosptialized and I'm going through a healing process where I don't have much energy for much right now.
So I don't feel guilty... But still to the rest of you guys? Have you ever wondered if you would treating people the right way as a Christian?
