We have all heard that the economy is in a rebuilding state by the Lord? Is it possible that the same could be said for churches that are closing as well as businesses?

There doesn't seem to be any large trend of churches closing, at least to me. The most I've seen is that a few churches within mainline Protestant denominations that seem to have not become relevant have mostly older members, and their particular denominations have chosen to close them down or merge them into other congregations because they aren't "viable" enough on their own.
Now if you're talking about church buildings, then that's another matter.

I know that we are the church..yet, where I live at churches are closing down on a regular basis. I come in contact with many people who don't attend church..because they haven't found one or just recently..their church shut down. There are many churches here that were started when Ministers, Pastors, and etc. when they exited the churches they were attending; carrying people when they left.
