I hate to say it, but with few exceptions, prophets tend to be the worst preachers. At least that's been my experience. You might need to get out more ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I hate to say it, but with few exceptions, prophets tend to be the worst preachers. At least that's been my experience. That's because some prophets are called to do one thing... and that is to PROPHESY according to the proportin of FAITH. After God tell us how present our bodies and to renew our mind, He tell us NOT to think of ourselves more HIGHLY than we ought to think.... Roman 12 PPl don't want to sit and be trained, disciplined and grow into their gift and calling. If you not call to pastor, preach or teach... than be that watchman on the wall and sound the alarm... bring warning, judgment, edify, comfort and encouragement to the church according to your level of faith.

This is the very reason I wanted to make sure my post was not biased......because I have to give Christina Glenn her "props" as a prophet....this young lady is truly walking in her calling as a prophet..... Now as for preaching; she is not the most profound preacher and was more of a praiser than a preacher.....but in all fairness to Ms. Glenn the church has set the standard that in order for one to walk in their calling as a prophet the person must combine the two ministries (preaching and prophecy)......... Which IMO is a disservice to the church.....because no one would have a week long revival without the guest prophet preaching: One the people would not receive them and second the Pastors wouldn't receive them either.... I have actually heard Pastors say that they would not attend a church program or service unless there was preaching on the program......well every service is not a preaching service.....the church has God in a box and we truly miss out on the full manifestation of God because of our traditions....... Personally this girl has a sweet spirit and is not haughty at all....she was very sweet which I was surprised.......true I went to meet and see her as a spectator but I left her service a believer.....I tell you all one thing personally for me I received a warmer greeting upon meeting Christina Glenn for the first time than I did from Juanita Bynum Now why she is marrying Weeks, I don't know maybe she loves him and maybe he loves her..... You all need to see her in person (not an edited youtube video) and than maybe you will see what I am talking about...

You all need to see her in person (not an edited youtube video) and than maybe you will see what I am talking about... I received what you said about prophetess Glenn, she is a sweet anointed Woman of God... I have a hard time understanding why, TW... with all those unresloved issues and open wounds. He was so open with the privacy of what went on behind his bedroom door in his prevous marriage. She is also freshly divorce.... I believe there are life after a divorce, but I don't believe that marriage should be like high school dating and divorce a break up t more somebody else in place. Prophets have been treated like evangelist, forcing them to do what they are not called to do... There are different types of Prophets and They have different form or styles of deliveries. I have seem prophets come in and do a prophtic teaching, their whole sermon in prophesies. They only speak what the Lord have given them for the congregaion. Some are just in house prophets... JB is a prophetess and evangelist, but I wouldn't want her to pastor me, because I don't think that is what she call to do... That is why there are so much mess in the church, ppl doing what God never called them to do.

You might need to get out more ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I did say with few exceptions, LOL. And when we say "preaching" today, biblically that actually refers to teaching. "Preaching" is what every believer is called to do; it has the gospel as its subject and sinners as its object. But teaching is what goes on in the church, and all prophets just cannot teach. Even when Juanita Bynum tries to go this direction sometimes I cringe because she doesn't do it with the clarity and precision that a true teacher does. I can tell when she's proclaiming something prophetically, even using a scriptural passage as a backdrop, and when she tries to go off into teaching. Then we also need to realize that just because one prophesies doesn't make them a prophet. A person can walk in the ascension gift calling of teacher, yet have the charism of prophecy.

I agree 100% that everyone who prophecies is not a prophet and that is a problem we have today. Any Holy Ghost filled believer can prophesy as it is one of the gifts of the Spiriy and He distributes the gifts as He wills. 100% correct you can have the ministry gift of prophecy but that doesnt necessarily make you a prophet either. I know prophets who are outstanding teacher well versed in handling the Word of God, but I do agree that are many that are not as effective in their didactic mantle as they are in their prophetic and that is said because many times people seem them in opposition to one another when they really support one another.

For the most part I enjoyed the interview they did. Though 90 percent of it was them talking about how perfect they are for each other, I did receive some "nuggets" that are helping me. Her response/reaction to him comes across way more real and sincere than Juanita's did. They have more of and ease between them than he and Juanita had. Where Juanita was stumbling through her words this woman just seems to flow with him. They seem to truly be friends and truly in agreement with each other.
I think Juanita has tried to preach her way through her issues and wounds and that's why she really hasn't over come them. We all have issues and wounds but how we choose to deal with them makes all the difference in the world.
I agree she ain't much of a preacher but from the responses she was getting from the people she was prophesying on point. I also agree that the "church" tends to want to make every prophet a preacher or every teacher a preacher or everybody got to be something they ain't in order to be what they really are.....and it puts people in a bad situation...and a lot of messy "preaching" in church. Everybody is not a preacher.
