Why? Is it because the two of them have been divorced less than 1 1/2 years... Bishop Week will soon be off of probation for spouse abuse. I don't know if he completed the anger management class and received counselling... She might be he person for him... I won't be able to go... SpiritAir $1 sale passed... |

This is also in response to GDD question as to why this topic gets so much attention... Honestly for me, I am amazed at the theatrics of it all and the drama surrounding this man and woman of God. And after meeting, seeing, hearing and analyzing Christina Glenn for myself I am even more amazed that a woman this dynamic would involve herself in such foolishness. Not foolish in terms of getting married just foolish in terms of the actions leading up to the marriage.... One must ask themselves is TW a marketing genius or is he really making a mockery of the Gospel  .. IDK At any rate it if nothing else this topic should provoke thought and have people asking themselves what is really real in terms of those who walk in the office of Pastor, Bishop, Prophet, Saint etc.....and what is expected of our leaders and where are lines drawn and when does a saint of God cross those boundaries... |

When I watched the interview on their website he said that the whole "searching for Mrs Weeks" thing was blown way out of proportion by the execs who wanted to do it. He said they were the ones who were trying to turn it into a reality show along the lines of the stuff we see on television and by the time they got done with he wanted nothing to do with it and pulled the plug on the whole thing. That's believable to me because of what Tyler Perry went through before putting his shows on the air. He had to turn down the first offer and find a network that would allow him to do his shows his way. They said that they didn't get together behind that "finding the next Mrs Weeks" stuff. They're relationship developed through their friendship through ministry.
I think we should be careful about allowing other entities to shape our opinions. We all know how the media is on every level. They are all about the dollars and cents, the drama, what people want to see and hear. They are all about controversy and they will stretch anything beyond recognition just to get the rise out of people they are looking for. I always say, see and listen for yourself from that person. If we are going to discern anything, let it not be by what comes to us from the world supposedly representing anyone in the kingdom of God.
All of us have had to start over and or will have to start over again. I am currently starting over yet again. I sure would hate to be constantly judged by all my past mishaps by a bunch of people who weren't' there, and haven't been there, and saw nothing first hand and who won't even listen to me when I do talk.
If Christina Glenn is as anointed as some of you say from seeing her first hand, then give the woman some credit. She spoke of her parents, her father in the interview. With the level of anointing that you say she has and the fact that she has anointed parents you think maybe, just maybe she can discern whether or not she has made a good choice of someone to marry? You think maybe her father or mother would have been able to catch something she overlooked?
If she is as anointed as some of you say, then whether or not you trust Thomas Weeks, trust that the anointing on her life will at least protect her from marrying the wrong man. Not to do so is a complete insult to her and her anointing.

Vin, the big misstep on the part of Weeks is that "execs" were involved in the first place, which means that he had intentions to publicize this one way or the other from the beginning.
Secondly, I believe Juanita Bynum is genuinely anointed, but look at the mistake she still made. And she scorned wise counsel that was given to her from others regarding her marriage to Weeks. The anointing and spiritual discernment/integrity often do not go hand in hand.

All I can say about TW and the so-called search for a wife is listen to his interview and what he says about it and if you still feel the same way then at least it's because of what you saw and heard.
As far and JB goes, it's been clear (at least to me) from very early on that Juanita Bynum had unresovled issues. It came out in her preaching and a lot of how she would conduct herself, even in interviews. It was never a secret that she had things in her past that she refused to deal with but instead just preached louder and growled that much more into the microphone. I've seen her AND paid attention to her and it is no wonder that her marriage to TW didn't work. Her marriage would have failed no matter who the groom was.

Many time the Lord will actually let me to see the anointing on their life. They were born to speak, write, and sing etc., but is missing the Holy Spirit... Juanita Bynum is anointed by the Holy Spirit to preach, teach, sing and prophesy... and this gift came from Jesus as a gift to the church as an evangelist and prophetess, not as the world anointing or gift. With all of her issues or mishaps... (none of us have arise to perfection and we all have something).... She is anointed and that anointing destroy yokes.. She made some mistakes and some bad decisions... which we all have and wish we could turn back the clock and start all over... The anointing do not change the person personality, and weakness... When the anointing lifted, you deals with the real person... and that person may not be in sin, but their personalities, attitudes and ways may not be what we expected. They may have their likes and dislikes, and still struggling with weakness... They may be gifted in one area and slow in others.. They are human being working toward perfection and may trip and fall along the way, but get up and keeping walking... I believe there is life after divorce.... I don't believe it should used like high school dating, break up to find someone else... I believe a peron should fight till they can't fight no more for their marriage.. When it phyiscal, emotion abuse or ON GOING affairs, yes or when it taking years off your life and putting you into a deep depression, yes.. What I see in the church now days are outrageous, leaders divorce and jump up and re-marry to destroy someone else life. No accountibilities... TW with his next Mrs. Weeks campaigne was an embarrassment to the church... I am surprise that any anointed woman of God would falls for it... yes, the groupies, but not a preacher... This suppose to open more doors for her? This suppose to full in the void JB left open? I thought he would have disappear for a season to get counselling and quietly rebuild his ministries, church and his self image, not a dating game... Who will be the next Mrs. Weeks, sign up!... I got her, she will soon be revealed!!!... Revealed, show off the New Mrs Weeks... wedding date set foolishness... She been divorced less than 2 years too... so may be they are equally yoke OK... However, based on what you said, I am assuming that you don't believe that an unsaved person can be anointed. Additionally, what does it mean when you say you can "see the anointing on their life"? I have heard many ppl say it, however, I think that that may need to be "fleshed out" more. I think that maybe our definitions of "anointing" are different. I believe that we are anointed at an appointed time to do something for the Lord. And I know that there have been times in my unsaved life where God anointed me to sing, etc. (not to be confused with gifting because it's not "gifts" that destroys yokes) Lastly, did someone say something about not having life after divorce? |

I think we are agreeing.... I did say a person unsaved can be anointed to do certain things, but they do not have the Holy Spirit inside them. Sometime the Lord will open my spiritual eyes and I can see an amber light outline their body or shoulders of the person and a bright white light around their head or if they are prosperous, I see a bright green light outline their body or their neck and arm turn green. I know you wasn't putting her down, but there is a different in the type of anointing. I have been in services when JB was ministering and she have a very strong anointing upon her.... It was so strong that you can feel yokes breaking off you... My friend was going through some difficult time, after the service, it look like aload was lifted off of her... she was able to smile and laugh again, before she was alway crying and so depress, her newly wed husband was out on crack... I myself felt lighter. No one say anything about life after divorce... but I was explaining my thoughts about the whole sitution... I am not totally against a person remarrying after a divorce... But a person should be ready just like a single saved person who never been married and should not be playing games... |
