Oral Roberts went to be with the Lord today at 97 years old... God blessed him with long life and he accomplished much for the Kingdom of God.... RIP

I thought he was 91? In either case, he certainly did have a long, full life.

I don't know... on the News it had 1912 - 2009... may be I saw it wrong... getting old and in need of glasses.

Yes I can remember growing up watchin Oral and Richard Roberts. My mom kept the Tv on TBN...lol (most of the time) we did watch other things.
But the ole' saints are leavin us, look at Bishop Patterson, Dottie Rambo, Oral Roberts, Pop Winans...etc
We might have changed some things up a bit, but we should never get away from that foundation they gave us, its stood the tests of time. We need to get back to some true standards. I look at my children today and I say to myself, that we have to teach them some standards based on holiness (not the denomination). They need to know what the word really says about things, or they will have a hard time trying to fake break in this world, growin up in the church at that.
It just makes you think...
