Is Kim Burrell still married? No.....but it's hard to find any info about it... I'm not surprised there is no info about it, it was a pretty hasty marriage. She was one of the speakers at our annual women's conference that year and they were still on their honeymoon. I remember her saying that her family thought it was too soon and they had not known each other long enough. He reponse was that she was not going to miss her blessing. I was assigned as their driver while they were here. Her husband was a musician and I remember them being in the back of the limo just "giddy" with excitement. If I remember correctly, they did have a child. I believe a boy. |

Well, I'm not one to say what is too fast (I met my husband in Nov and he asked me to be his wife in March -- and that was after almost a month of not seeing me because we were in college. And then we got married in Dec). But it's always unfortunate that ppl get divorced. I believe my husband knew him. He was in Philly a lot at some churches that we visited...
I do believe they had a boy....I'm surprised that there's nothing online really to verify anything tho.

It is unfortunate when people divorce no matter how long they have waited to get married.
Not finding much information online about the breakup still does not surprise me. I also remember her commenting that she came from a "traditional" saintified family. They just don't put their business out there like that.
