do you hear it and speak what you hear or does it just come out and you don't hear anything beforehand?
Side Note: This question is specifically for those who speak in tongues.....

When I speak in tongues I hear what I speak as I am speaking....
I don't hear anything before hand....
I guess that's why we speak as the spirit gives utterance........

I'll use myself for example (and I'm wondering if this is the difference between those that have the HG vs those who have the gift of tongues). I have the gift of tongues and sometimes, I actually hear the language before it comes out vs hearing nothing and speaking....both are spirit led but one is moreso "heard" before it comes out your mouth.
Does that make more sense?

I dont hear anything beforehand. I simply open my mouth and speak. Its possibly because you have the gift of tongues that it operates differently in your life. Also God is very a personal He doesnt do everything the same way with everybody. Im a dreamer, in all honesty one man of God said very much like Daniel. I tend to dream in intense detail, color, sound and I can remember pretty much every little detail. Other peole I know dream, but not to the same detail.
That is one of the very cool things with GOD. He is diverse and he uses people diverse as well.

I don't hear anything, just speak too... When I am praying in the Spirit for a certain country, I speak the language of that country and God will give me a vision of what is taking place and the spirit that need to be broke on a tribe or area of the country... I am more of a dreamer and strengthen more into Word of Knowlegde then, prophecy and interpertation of tongue.

That makes sense..... I usually have very interesting dreams....some are what later on become "de ja vu" while others are so "weird" that I usually ask some friends that have the gift of dream interpretations to see if there's a "deeper meaning".
Either way, it's good to be used by God....

For me, it is as though I am the third person in the room while this heavenly communication is happening between the Holy Spirit in me and God. I don't do enough of it and I need to.

I don't hear anything beforehand either. I just speak as the Spirit gives utterance.
