I thought this was a very good article.....although I'm not an Oprah fan, I wish that I could've watched this interview...... I've always appreciated Pres. Bush and this definitely created a greater appreciation for me and I think I'd definitely read his book: Inside the Mind of President George W. BushIt's been almost two years since former President George W. Bush walked out of the White House and boarded a helicopter at Andrews Air Force base, closing the chapter on his two terms as America's commander in chief. "On the helicopter was my dad, who I love, my mom, who I adore, and my wife, who was an awesome first lady," President Bush says. "I was a comfortable guy, and I was ready to go home." Since that day, the former president has chosen to stay out of the limelight. He has been living quietly in his home state of Texas and working hard on his highly anticipated memoir, Decision Points. "What's so fascinating about this book is that it's like being inside the president's head as he makes his most critical decisions," Oprah says..........................

I am not a Pres. Bush hater... I liked him and just thought he was a bad president...
In one of Bush's interview, he said the worst moment of his presidency is being called a racist by Kanye West....
I thought it will be 9/11, Katrina, over 4000 servicemen & women die in the un-necessary war in Iraq or even hundred of thousand Iraqis killed because of the illegal invasion. or the geart recession and the falling economy... His worst moment is getting his feeling hurt by a hip hop singer?... how self-fish... President Obama has been called many things by ppl in high political position, who have influence over many, he never even let it move him. Kanye West probably forgotten about the statement, while Bush was still hurting... I glad West apologized right after Bush whined about it.
I didn't see the interview with Oprah... Oprah bring the best out of people, so I know it was a good positive interview, and I know she made Bush feel comfortable and welcome, the same as she did with Sarah Palin. But the interview with Matt Lauer, didn't go to well... He didn't want to answer any questions and keep telling him to buy his book... One of the biggest mistake he made, confessing that he authorizes waterboarding... Now, he made find himself in jail, which Pres. Obama and Eric Holder were trying to protect him.

I can understand why that would probably be something that sticks the most with him.... It's like me being a pastor's wife and because I didn't do something they liked they say that I don't care about children....esp when I know that's not the case. It's one thing to attack a person's decisions...it's another thing to attack someone's character...and truth be told, we don't know what Obama may say was his worse moment....(he's still president at the moment. :-) ) I think when ppl are at war, their are different techniques that could be used and if their was a possible attack on the American ppl, there are many things that one may do..... I HIGHLY doubt that any president during war time just asked the criminals nicely to give them the info they need and the criminals obliged.... Interview w/ Matt Lauer

I believe Pres. Bush to be a sincere and genuine guy and overall a decent human being, although I disagreed with some of his presidential decisions (and agreed with some also). I think I might get his book. I also think that history may be a little kinder to him than current public opinion.

But I hate to say this... he didn't exactly wrote the book www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/12/george-bush-book-decision-points_n_782731.html#s180911He wrote this book the same way I wrote my first research paper and got an A, because the teacher didn't know anything about the topic I choose, nor my style of writing... I quote word by word from different books, articles, and magazines in my paper. The only thing that was my own word was the introduction and closing... Well, somehow Bush stole my secret to my research paper and thought it will work for him in his book. Ok... former Pres. Bill Clinton have a better view of the book... www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/12/bill-clinton-george-bush-book_n_782728.html
