Disclaimer to Beulah--if you've been here all along in another section, I apologize. I usually only regularly check "news and events," "controversial topics" and "what's on your mind." I haven't checked the others in a while.

ATT you are correct. The JB board was special and I haven't found another one like it since. I never ventured off to the chatrooms but did enjoy the many diverse and spirited discussions. At that time I was in a church that discouraged fellowship with anyone who did not share our same beliefs. Being exposed to the many different religious beliefs on the JB board helped me to grow spiritually and read the bible more for myself. Even the controlling and self-righteous moderators (and there were many) contributed to my spiritual growth.
It's hard to believe nearly 10 years have gone by. wow!

Well hello everyone, it's nice to see you on the board. This discussion reminds me of the day when one of the moderators sent me a message that the JB Board was shutting down so I quickly put up this board and contacted as many of the members that I could to let them know of its existence.
We're still here and may I encourage you to pop back once in a while and say hi.
I've been awol for a bit recovering from dual knee replacement but well on the mend now.
God bless you all.

Thank you teebee. I have not been around since I moved down to Ghana. It is good to see and hear how well everyone is doing and also to reminisce a little bit. Yes I agree that there has been no message board like the JB one in relation to diversity and range-at least for me.
It was truly like a church and served a great purpose. We continue to lift JB up in prayer-May God preserve her and all that serve to seek the Lord Jesus Christ....

Ghana? Years ago God had me interceeding and standing the gap for Ghana... I thought I was suppose go there as a missionary, but God didn't tell me that, it was my religious flesh, He told me to just pray, lol... Later my Apostle went there to plant churches and take churches under her, so she can cover them in prayer and finance.
Everytime JB is mention on this board, it wake up from the dead... ppl you haven't seen in months find their way back to the board... lol I guess it's the anointing :/

Hi Kanyon,
You have been MIA. Hope your recovery from knee surgery is going well. Thanks for giving the JB refugees a place to meet and keeping it up and running for nearly 10 years.

You are a VERY blessed person to not have had a stroke or heart attack. BP really is a silent killer. I've had episodes of high BP (150/90) and didn't feel anything. It really is something that requires daily readings, close monitoring, and faithful taking of one's meds. I'm glad you're okay and I hope you stay that way.

Thanks..
They ran tests give me all sorts of medications..and told me that I should have had a stroke, a heart attack, or not been here. They finally told me that my body wasn't responding anythng they were giving me. I watched the monitor go up and down. They gave me nitroglycerin tablet...lowered it for a moment and got a bad headache after it did what it was supposed to do. I give God thanks. I spend New Year's Eve in the hospital...yet, I was on my knees. The doctors could never found out what my bp shot up that high..I attribute it to stress. Due to many changes happening in my life at the same time...

This post is so funny! I was a JBM moderator back in the day. It was structured, like Juanita Bynum wanted it. with her own rules. It didn't shut down because of rumors about her getting married. It was shut down because of the negotiations of web maintenance. Website Administrator Shaun Adams, controlled that area, but the site was run by someone else. I remember in 2004, while in New Jersey, me, him, and 2 other moderators discussed his possible negotiations to take over the website completely, however after his meeting with her she (JB) decided that she would shut the entire board down. If she would have allowed him to take over the maintenance, the site would possibly exist today. Btw, Anointed the moderator you are referring to was Min DB Knox. I personally think it was one of the best boards around!
