I watch a lot Christian television and in the past could always come across her on somebody's channel or show at least a couple of times a month. I don't see her show on any of the channels any more and shockingly I have not seen her on ANY of the fundraising sharathons which are going on on several of the channels this time of year. I'm very surprised to have not seen her on TBN's sharathon in a couple of years. Has anyone seen her anywhere lately? I hope she's okay and getting herself together wherever she is.

I get an email once in a while... when she doing an revival or conference... It is good she is pastoring, and doing her own thing.

Oh, okay. I cannot come to this board and not think of her since she was the reason that this board started in the first place (I remember "jbrefugees"! LOL! when everybody was kicked off the other board sometime around 2002??) How old is this board? Does anyone remember exactly? #Ilovehistoryanddates

I was talking to someone about JB just the other day. We both agreed how anointed she was in the beginning, no matter what has happened you can't take that away from her. We talked about how in the early days when she was on TV you could actually feel the tangible anointing in the room with you as she ministered...ahhhh, the good ole days.
We didn't know what had happened to her, but I am glad to know that she is still in ministry. Someone told me that the last time they saw her she looked as if she wears a size 2. Don't know if that's good or bad.
BTW teebee, I was one of the original refugees from the other board when this place started.

Yes, Rachel2, I remember your name from back then and several other names here. I believe the original board was on JB's website and everybody was kicked off for discussing the "rumor" back around 2002 that JB had gotten married and wasn't being forthcoming about it. Moderators vehemently denied it and accused posters of touching God's annointed only to find out from JB herself on TBN a short time later that it was all true! Funny how time flies and everything that has happened in the interim. That was almost 10 years ago!!
Whatever happened to that lady Tanya who used to be on the platform with JB and read for her? Is JB's mother still living? Her mother, especially, seemed to be such a strong, solid rock for JB. I loved to watch her in the background and listen to JB's stories about her. I miss good, solid, grounded, HOLY-LIVING church mothers. I still fondly remember the ones that I grew up with. What a loss the body of Christ is at today for not having more true church PARENTS.

teebee, some of those moderators was nothing but pulpit internet bullies... some made up their own rules.... I did like Apostle Kathy Williams, she used to do the teaching in the chat room and some thing lead the prayer. She made me change my name from anointedteacher to anointed-to-teach. We wasn't allow to use titles unless approved by the administrators. PPl used to try to prophesy to me in the chat room and will tell them to keep the word to themselves, unless Min. Kathy was there to judge it... She don't let anybody prophesy to anybody lol... I missed the old JB board, I was just approve to be a moderator on the board, before it went down.

Hhmm, well sounds like you had quite the experience. I never visited the chat rooms or participated in the prayer forum so I can't speak about those. "Pulpit internet bullies" -- LOL!
I am currently reading Kathryn Kuhlman's biography by Jamie Buckingham. He discusses her views on fanaticism and the need for the leader to keep a certain amount of control in a meeting or setting where the Holy Spirit is moving. It sounds like a very fine line btwn keeping ORDER and STIFLING people. Hopefully, the moderators have since learned whatever balance they needed to learn.

teepee.... I wasn't talking about in the chat room, but the message board, and it wasn't all... there were about 2 or 3... In the chat room it was pretty cool.... a few witches will drop in to cause confession, but we would rebuke them and they will go away... During a teaching there were always order.... I remember when Rev. knock (I think that the name) critized & rebuke someone for misspelling and bad grammar, I told her she was wrong.... boy did she went off on me lol and deleted all my posts... everytime I begin a teaching on the board, on Apostle Paul, she would delete it, for no reason at all.... I told her ppl come here on different education level, and they shouldn't feel ashame and stop posting and expressing themselve the best they are able.
It wasn't what you desrcibe in Jamie Buckingham book

I remember applying to be a moderator and they wanted me to give a paper basically of why i put in my signature line that what I say may or may not be my opinion....to me, it was very simple...what I say may or may not be my opinion...and I learned if you want to have a really detailed conversation, you have to have someone that goes a different way.....oh well.... LOL.

Nikkol... a few, (not all) were very self-rigtheous and a few had strong religious spirit and there were just a couple or may be more, that really inspired to me to grow and move up in Christ.... I think it was the best message board I have been on and I am searching for a board like that... I learned so much from different ppl and it made me search the scriptures move and understand different denominations, their traditions and teaching.... I missed it!
Their bar for moderator were so high LOL.... I waited to be asked and invited to be a moderator, I didn't invited myself, that will give even a greater reason to reject you. There were that one moderator that was trying to block me.

I liked LKone49...LOL she made me change my login name, and rebuked me a few time, but she was not plain old nasty like Rev. Knock, who would delete or change your post if she didn't like you. They had a strong religious spirit and very self-righteous... even with those bad moderators, the board was 10 X better than most Christian Board, especially the white Southern Baptist boards.
