What are your thoughts? Should kids be allowed in church services? Some churches in the United States are not admitting children into worship services in an effort to keep disruptions at a minimum as to not interrupt prayer and the pastor's message. At South Carolina's NewSpring Church, children are not allowed to attend the worship service and the doors are even locked after the sermon starts, according to staff representatives at NewSpring......

I know of one Church in L.A. that used church time to expose the children under 12 to museums, galleries and the like for some learning experiences that they would not otherwise have.

Parent should be encourage to let their kids go to the children church, but not force. Too many parent do not teach their little ones to be still and sit quietly during church service and it can be an headarche. It not fair for the children, they should be in an evironment where they can learn the Gosple and godly manner in a creative fun way... I've taught children church to the 2 and 3 years old and 7 to 11, we did a lot in such a little time. I taught them scriptures through demonstrations, pictures I drew and on the scriptures up on the wall in giant letters... we have art and craft etc... If the church can separates the kids in groups, infants, toddles, 2 to 6 years old, and 7 to 11, it will benefit the children as well as the parents. Regular church service is not for young kids, yes some are senative to the Holy Spirit and can be touch, but they can also greive the Holy Spirit and disrupt the service.
