I think Martha Munizzi did the first version of this song. And in my opinion, it was the more anointed version.

I am listening the newer version..and I have to agree. There is a very anointing on the original version. I think sometimes when too many changes are made to a song with that brings healing as this song does...it's loses the very thing that is needed to break yokes.
