National Day of Prayer

Yes Prayer does work......

It is so ironic my church (jurisdiction) had a prayer vigil scheduled Monday (the day of the VA shootings) for our children......the service and prayer was very inspiring however little attendance..

It just amazes me how we can turn out in droves to a musical but mention prayer (especially corporate prayer) and no one shows up....

You are so right...pray and pray some more. It seems that we have forgotten what was spoken in 2 Chr. 7:14...he said "if my people" ; " who are called by my name" .. humble, pray, turn, and seek..then he would hear from heaven and then HEAL the land.

Our Pastor called from corporate for 45 mins... a week and maybe 2-4 actually showed up to pray. Hopefully, we all have good things to report after next week's event..
