I got this From: www.ajc.com/search/content/opinion/stories/2008/03/14/frwooten0314.htmlJuanita Bynum, came to be on the ground with a man's foot making rapid contact with her body: "I did push her and subsequently other things took place." Lesson learned? "No matter how much you feel you are right in a push, it's unjust according to the law." Interpreter, please. Is that the same as saying that a technicality in the darn law won't let you smack 'em when they deserve it?Bishop Weeks need help... he still abusing Bynum.... Help me! Lord I am getting angry again... Yes... I can forgive Weeks... I just want to beat him up first ;D See now sis, AT - you told me you were delivered! LOL sister AT what does the Bible say " Be angry and sin not" LOL I know its hard....Im just messin with ya BTW...

Jessica, Did you watch the video? I ask that because, although it's more than 30 minutes long, you responded almost immediately after I posted it and because I actually think it's truly worth viewing. Now, I know I can't be the only woman to whom GOD has so clearly spoken through the recent life events of this sister and her counterpart Paula White.... lest anyone dare to think it was a "black thing". Knowing that I am most definitely one of them is why I haven't had anything to say about her situation in such a long time....I'm way MORE than busy minding my own, examining myself and receiving every warning that GOD has given in the way He exposed and used her life during this time. A whole lot of folks, especially the WOMEN OF GOD, instead of running their mouths, should be, and praise GOD!, actually, I've found, have been, wise enough to do the same. GOD wounds and HE HEALS. Blessed be the Name of The Lord! Oh, and imho, Juanita Bynum looked better during that interview than she has in a very long time. ;D

Oh, and imho, Juanita Bynum looked better during that interview than she has in a very long time. ;D I agree though I am not one for the pile of makeup on anyone..lol. However, I watched the entire interview and I must say that some disturbed yet some really encouraged. It encouraged me to know that there is someone that she is able to speak with, "her counselor" and prayerfully her counselor is a woman of God and one of wisdom. I can relate to having songs help you through some of your weakest moments. Juanita seemed almost real when she was sharing the songs from "Hairspray" that brought her through one of the most difficult times of her life. However, (and no I am not picking) what bothered me were the prideful words/phrase "my ministry" and until she let's that go, God will continue to cause her to be humbled. I truly believe that Juanita loves God; she truly has a call of God on her life. And though Monica kept calling her an Evangelist, I know that Juanita has a true call of a prophet on her life. A prophet is not his/her own but is totally surrendered to the Lord and until she gets that point she will continue to go down a hard unecessary road. However, thank God for His Mercy! Also, I don't like how she compared her marriage to a new Cadillac. Though I understood the gist of what she was trying to say, she must understand that a marriage is nothing like a car - and though a car may be totaled after an accident, a marriage doesn't have to be (if we choose for it not to be). She also said something that was very profound. Allow me to share a little bit about myself. I one time I was very easily offended by almost any/everything anyone said/done. I would continue to allow myself to be abused emotionally and verbally. However, I continued to go back just like women who are physically abused by their husbands yet find a way to say "If I just wouldn't do this, then maybe he wouldn't do that." It took years for me to stop and say "why do I allow this to happen to me?" Juanita said "What permitted me to allow it?" If she truly stands on that and seek the Lord for an answer, I believe that He will show her - she may not like what she sees but her deliverance will be sure once she acknowledges the reason. I pray for the day that she steps away from the spas, makeup lines, etc. and get on her face and allow God to use her as a prophet to the nations for it is there that she is MOST effective.

Yeah, I have to admit the makeup artist might have been a l'il bit heavy-handed, lol! Advertising the new makeup line, maybe? Anywho, sista wears it well and I really liked the lipstick color.... But honestly, I was referring more to (and encouraged by) what was in her eyes than what was painted on them. That's pretty much how I hear most of what JB says/preaches/teaches... and, like you, I've learned to separate it accordingly. Amen. That's the "heart of the matter" for her right there... just as it was/is for you, me, and whole lot of us. I'm definitely praying with you for that return and restoration, sis. And I'm praying that she does it soon and voluntarily. Because although His "rod and staff" do indeed "comfort"....the pain is no joke.

I watched the video in its entirety yesterday, and truly planned on responding after the mand of God post, because I walked away with some nuggets from the video.
One thing I did notice first and foremost was the fight in her eyes. I actually did not notice the makeup. When I did go back..I thought the color was bland. I did like the lipstick color.
I wholeheartedly agreed with something she did say..
When your heart is broken, it is the spirit that strengthens you. The spirit will strengthen you when your heart is weak.
When the heart is broken and wants to let go...the spirit of God won't let it.
My GOD I know that to be the truth.! In watching the video, I cried with her in some areas, and in other areas I frowned. But I won't get into that.

I think the interview was necessary... Because she was misled..
1) Bishop Weeks, before the February 18th deposition (No Show) he said he was ready to mend or end the marriage. He said the church was praying that they will reconcile. He repeated that he wanted they mend the relationship or end... it was up to her.
2) March 10th when they finally got to see each other, they fell into each other arms and hold on to each other for almost an hour, while the lawyers sat and watch... they said is was a very emotional experience. They spend time alone in the law office. She actually thought their marriage could be saved.
3) She text message him twice, expressing her love for this man, before going to court. Thinking they will get back together and didn't want him to go to trail. She knew he will serve time.
He took the private messages that his wife sent to him expose it to the public.... and openly rejected her, after she plea motion for no jail time for him. I believe Bynum, would have still asked for no jail time for Weeks even if he want to bring closure to their marriage.
Because of the public rejection and embarrassment, I think a public interview brought understanding to what she going through and peace in her situation. She needed to face the public and not just pretend as if nothing happen. Many are concern about her and many are familar with her pain.
One thing I like about Bynum, she never try to pretend she got it all together, she confess her mistakes and weakness...
