I'm an Obama supporter, but I really don't think he disagrees as much with Dr. Wright's comments as he says he does. Saying he does is a smart move on his part

I was pleasantly surprised at how many conservative commentators commended Obama for not abandoning his friend and Pastor. They applauded the loyalty he showed by not throwing him under the bus which would have been politically safe for him.
His speech was a classic.
My wife was born in Wa. so has dual citizenship.
I think its sort of cute from the heavenlies watching the republicans pray for a republican president and the democrat Christians praying for a Democratic president. ;D
As for me and my wife, we are hoping for Obama, but my vote don't count.

"We can tackle race only as a spectacle -as we did in the O.J. trial- or in the wake of tragedy, as we did in the aftermath of Katrina, or as fodder for the nightly news. ... But if we do, I can tell you that in the next election, we'll be talking about some other distraction ... and nothing will change. ... In this election, we can come together and say, 'Not this time.'" -statement by Obama in USA Today
