Glory to God from whom all blessings flow. I can truly say praising God is a new and refreshing experience each and everyday. Let's talk about the depths and dimensions of praise and worship. My desire is to worship and praise God in the spirit of Chenaniah and Asaph. My desire is to go to such a level of experiencing his presence until everything else doesn't matter and is light in comparison to his weighty presence. Post as you like but I'll dedicate this one to God. He deserves one post to himself alone. Heavenly worship is my goal to manifest in the earth. I will post scriptures and different kinds of worship as led. If you haven't gotten Shekinah Glory Live 2007 album, it's out in stores and a true blessing (a ministry of worshippers). Topics I will like to hit on are the the different postures of worship, the place of brokeness, prophetic song and ministry in worship, the prophetic function in association with music, heavenly worship, etc.

PSALM 149 (Emphasis Mine)
1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. 2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. 4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

I just brought Shekinah Glory's new cd this weekend...I love disc 2. I played it a work all day. I have found out that nothing else matters when you're in the presence God.

We've often heard the phrase that as your praise goes up, the blessings come down. But I have a new anthem:
"As the praises go up, we go up!"
When our praises go up to God, our spirit will go up higher in Him too. Likewise, as we go up higher in him, we will praise him in the level in which we go in the spirit. This is "worship in praise and truth" at its best.

Anointed,
that is indeed my pastor's resounding theme.
As the praises go up, we go up!

For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song.
Praise awaits[fn1] you, O God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled. Psa 65:2 O you who hear prayer,
to you all men will come. Psa 65:3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
you forgave[fn2] our transgressions. Psa 65:4 Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
of your holy temple.
Psa 65:5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,
O God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas, Psa 65:6 who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength, Psa 65:7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations. Psa 65:8 Those living far away fear your wonders;
where morning dawns and evening fades
you call forth songs of joy.
Psa 65:9 You care for the land and water it;
you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,
for so you have ordained it.[fn3] Psa 65:10 You drench its furrows
and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers
and bless its crops. Psa 65:11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance. Psa 65:12 The grasslands of the desert overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness. Psa 65:13 The meadows are covered with flocks
and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing
Alleiluia!!

Chapter 33
1. Sing joyously to the Lord, you righteous ones; it is fitting for the upright to offer praise.
2. Extol the Lord with a harp; sing to Him with a ten-stringed lyre.
3. Sing to Him a new song; play well with sounds of jubilation.
4. For the word of the Lord is just; all His deeds are done in faithfulness.
5. He loves righteousness and justice; the kindness of the Lord fills the earth.
6. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their hosts.
7. He gathers the waters of the sea like a mound; He places the deep waters in vaults.
8. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world tremble before Him.
9. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it endured.
10. The Lord has annulled the counsel of nations; He has foiled the schemes of peoples.
11. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart throughout all generations.
12. Fortunate is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose as a heritage for Himself.
13. The Lord looks down from heaven; He beholds all mankind.
14. From His dwelling-place He looks intently upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15. It is He Who fashions the hearts of them all, Who perceives all their actions.
16. The king is not saved by a great army, nor a warrior rescued by great might.
17. The horse is a false guarantee for victory; with all its great strength it offers no escape.
18. But the eye of the Lord is directed toward those who fear Him, toward those who hope for His kindness,
19. to save their soul from death and to sustain them during famine.
20. Our soul yearns for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
21. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, for we have put our trust in His Holy Name.
22. May Your kindness, Lord, be upon us, as we have placed our hope in You.

Psalms - Chapter 24
1. Of David, a song. The land and the fullness thereof are the Lord's; the world and those who dwell therein.
2. For He founded it upon seas and established it upon rivers.
3. Who will ascend upon the Lord's mount and who will stand in His Holy place?
4. He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not taken My name in vain and has not sworn deceitfully.
5. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and charity from the God of his salvation.
6. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your presence-Jacob, forever.
7. [You] gates, lift your heads and be uplifted, [you] everlasting portals, so that the King of Glory may enter.
8. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord, Who is strong and mighty, the Lord Who is a mighty warrior.
9. [You] gates, lift your heads and lift up, [you] everlasting portals, so that the King of Glory may enter.
10. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of Hosts-He is the King of Glory forever.
