This is scary, i haven't read the book but I have heard enough about this book until I really don't want to read it..

MAry Magdelene married to Jesus and they have a daughter.....

I've always loved good mystery...good whodunit novels. All things hidden by Christian author Judy Candi was excellent!

I read part of the DaVinci code. Read it for the fiction that it is. The satanic inferences were a huge turnoff so I didn't finish.

Gotta watch what I feed my Spirit!

and you know what we as Christian have to be careful because if we are not strong enough to answer the ? that will arise we will fall into the enemy's trap. I been during some studying on this and satan is very busy. Da Vinci is also said to be the picture of Mona Lisa and that a code was put into the picture which supposedly to be that Mary Magdalene took the body of Jesus to france and this is were the both of them are. As far as the Holy Grail Mary Magdalene is suppose to be the grail it self that she is carrying the blood line of Jesus which someone today is living. We have to be ready as Christian for the question because they are coming.

I read this book and what the author was saying is nothing new and has been around since as far back as when Jesus died. All he did was to package it into a thriller which was brilliantly written and hence the appeal.

I frankly do not know why christians are scared when books like these come out -it does not affect the status of our God one tiny little bit. He continues to be Jehovah Almighty the changeless one -what are the ideas of man and his imaginations to him?

I don't think folks are afraid to read the book or either the ideas of the book, but on the flip side we should be am alarmed because of the publicity this book is receiving and we know many weak minded people will believe that this book is the gospel.

Honestly, I really just don't feel like arguing with no one about whether or not Jesus was married to Mary...........

For the past two years the History channel has made a strong effort to discredit the many events in the bible. The movie, "The Da Vinci Code" in most eyes of the church is the climax of dicrediting the "Bible".

There is another movie coming out that is slated to be directed by the guy who did "Lord Of The Rings" series. The movie is "The Fall Of Satan (The Chronicle Of Brothers)". It's a four book series. I've read the first book, and believe me, this book is very seductive, intriguing and deceptive. It paints a picture of Satan as a victim and the Godhead as villans. A reader can find find themselves being sympathetic for Satan and the Fallen Angels.

After reading the first book, in my opinion this book is far more dangerous, not just to the church, but to the whole world than the Da Vinci Code.

Well the thing is if one has experienced Christ then no doctrine or findings of man will sway anybody.

John said that: That which we have touched, tasted and seen -this we testify to that He is the Christ.

I went to a forum where this topic was the same thing being discussed.

My first answer was the fact that these people are at fault because the millions of people who are revering and following Jesus were not persuaded to do so by human or intellectual reasoning. Most people did not wake up and get persuaded in their minds by academic proof that Jesus is real.

For us who honour and adore Him it is because this Christ stepped into lives which were broken and written off on the rubbish heap of life and brought healing to the broken hearted.

Our lives testify to the fact that He is who He says He is-Christ the Messiah because He alone is able to transform a life round.

Paul met with Jesus-afterwards he needed no persuasion and so have we even if Judas and his quintuplets produce some manuscript from the silt of the dead sea so they can all go sit down somewhere.

Secondly also that i was amazed and flabbergasted that these academics and writers etc etc who go out of their way to disprove that Jesus is who He said He is work with the arrogant supposition that people especially christians actually care what they think

The film that's currently in the works is Paradise Lost which was written in the 1600's. Chronicle is similar to Paradise Lost, which is the story of Satan's rebellion against God, how he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden, and the subsequent fall of man. Peter Jackson from LOTR isn't doing the film, Scott Derrickson, the director of Emily Rose will be. Paradise won't be coming out for at least 2 - 3 years.

The Chronicle movie may never see the light of day.

I see the Da Vinci film as a good thing in that it exposes the Catholic church for what it is. Christianity is not the Catholic church and the Catholic church is not Christianity. A lot of people don't know that. This movie will drive a lot of folks to crack open those dusty bibles sitting on their nightstands. There is nothing bad about that and there shouldn't be any worries on the part of believers because the Bible holds up perfectly...every jot and every tittle.

I do believe the Chronicle film is going ahead.

If it does, unfortunately it'll be made on a very small scale. Nothing on the scale of Paradise. I know that they're still working on the Fall of Lucifer comic, although they were doing that last December.
